As promised on the Asha forum
(ref http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?showtopic=2157&st=900# ), am uploading Akhtaribai Faizabadi's rendition of "vafaaon ke badale jafaa kar rahe hain". The original is a 78 rpm recording by Megaphone released in the 1930s; this file has been digitised from a cassette version that Megaphone brought out a few years ago. Warm regards, Abhay |

No idea about the CD. I am afraid none of the ghazals you mention are featured in any of BA's LP/cassette/CD releases (I have almost all of them and know the contents of the ones that I don't have). Have heard Farida Khanum's (great) rendition of the first ghazal you mention. Can't wait now to hear Akhtaribai's version.
