Simply gorgeous indeed as promised by Unni-bhai. Has an ethereal quality, something I felt a bit similar in atmosphere to the Lata song "Chand Madhyam Hai" from Railway Platform (Madan Mohan) u'led sometime back. Perhaps it's due to a similar instrument (which I can't recognize) playing in the background in both songs.

A clip from the Mortal Men Immortal Melodies concert. Hemantda singing jaag dard-e-ishq from Anarkali. The song appears to stop abruptly par yakeen maaniye just a second more. The video had some error due to which I managed to copy this only after many gymnastics and several attempts. sad1.gif
