Its from the N Dene cd - 2. I did not know that there were so many versions ohmy.gif I think Padmaja Phenani has also sung this song unsure.gif

Just realised I have these songs with me -- courtesy a good friend.
Yega yega vithabai
Radha krishnavari bhalali]
Ved lagale radhela
Radha gaulan karithe manthan
Kashi jaoon mi vrindavana
Murt roop jethe dhyan shripaticheDnyandeo bal maza

If anyone wants any of these let me know.
The cassette also has the original of kanadu vo vithalu but incomplete. Have asked my friend to mail me the full song soon. Am madly in love with it!!!!

Absolutely want them. Also how does the "original" of "KaanaDa o viThalu"
differ? Or is it just that it is not the live version.
If it is just that it is not the live version, I believe I have a copy somewhere
and can upload.

Sure--will ul them soon. Am only in the process of converting them.
The original of kanada vo vithalu is SUPERB!!!!!! I was bowled over by the live one but this one is great too. Starts with some dialogue or updesh or story but that is beside the point. Asha's voice is much younger so naturally the song is very different.
U have a version somewhere and do not know how it sounds????? unsure.gif Well check it out and ul--if it is yet another version then all the better!!!!! laugh.gif

Of course I know how it sounds. It is just that you got me all confused with
the "original" version. This song along with "Mala he Dattaguru disale" have
loooooooooooooooooong been my favorite Asha songs in Marathi. I just
could not believe YOU did not have a complete version of the "original". I hope
you have the complete "Dattaguru" song at least. If not, let me know and I
will upload it. BTW, who composed the music for the it? My records say that
the song is from the film "Aami jaato aamcha gaava".

"UThi Shri Rama pahaaT jhaali" is a gorgeous song. Asha's voice is a treat
to listen to. Here is the song. Unfortunately, I do not have the other one.
BTW, this is from a CD called "BhoopaaLi aaNi pahaaTechi bhaktigeete". Excellent
songs including Kumar Gandharva singing "UThi uThi gopaaLa" and Asha
singing "Rama raghunandana". If anybody is interested, I will upload those
as well.

Speaking of this song, it would be great to hear more of the Asha/Sudhir Phadke
combination from this period. Does anybody have songs from "Vahinichya
baangDya"??? I believe that is the name of the original Marathi film which later
was made into "Bhabhi ki chooDiyaN" in Hindi. It would be nice to hear the
Marathi equivalent of "Jyoti kalash chhalke" and "Lau lagaati geet gaati".
Asha also had a nice duet in the Hindi version of the film.
Lataji, do you have any of these songs?

Yes, Mala he dattaguru disale is from Amhi jaato aamchya gaava. Music is by Sudhir Phadke and written by Jagdish Khebudkar. Can u please upload the song Sangeetbhakt? bow.gif

I have a few more requests Darpani baghate mee gopaala , Jambhulpikalyaa jhaadaakhaalee , Prabhaatee soor nabhee and Ekaa talyaat hotee.
