On the eve of her 75th birthday, December 6, 2010, an English website in the honor of one of the greatest actresses of our time, Savithri (picture attached), was launched earlier today. Savithri acted in nearly 270 films and was an undisputed queen of Tamil and Telugu films for nearly 25 years. She also appeared in few Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam films. What a fitting tribute !! One of the greatest actresses ever and more than that, a wonderfully warm person whose acts of benevolence are umpteen, Savitri deserves immortality. Will visit the site...Congratulations again..
