Sharing some of my favourite Marathi collections of songs. Intrestingly I found some of these original versions thanks to an Album of Shreya Ghoshal that I heard a some time ago and then set out to search for them. Some of these songs have been sung in Bengali too - which I will upload on the Bengali forum

Starting of with the eternal Mogara Phulala by Lataji, Taruna Aahe Ratra Ajuni by Asha. These have also been sung by Shreya Ghoshal are uploaded on a shared site as I believe this recording would be a more recent one (after year 2000). Look forward to any corrections that I may need to make to the details of the songs (MD, Movie, Lyrics)

MD for Tinhi Sanzha and Taruna Aahe Ratra Azuni is Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar?

1. Mogara Phulala - Lata Mangeshkar, Lyrics - Mystic poet, saint Dhyaneshwar, MD - Pt. Hridaynath Mangeshkar
3.02 / 3.18

(Bengali Version - Na go ma phula nao rendered by Lata Mangeshkar:
http://www.hamaraforums.com/index.php?showtopic=85627)

2. Tinhi Sanzha sakhi - Lata Mangeshkar
3.43 / 3.44

Link to the Bengali version of this song 'Doore Aakash shamiana by Shreya Ghoshal: http://www.4shared.com/dir/30175532/83b318...ya_Ghoshal.html

3. Taruna aahe ratra ajuni - Asha Bhonsle
5.32 / 5.48

4. Gagan Sadan Tejomaya - Lata Mangeshkar
4.25mb / 4.38

All of the above versions by Shreya Ghoshal, Aarti Anklikar Tikekar and Madhuri are uploaded on this link:

Joy, sorrow, tears, lamentation, laughter — to all these music gives voice, but in such a way that we are transported from the world of unrest to a world of peace, and see reality in a new way, as if we were sitting by a mountain lake and contemplating hills and woods and clouds in the tranquil and fathomless water.

- Albert Schweitzer

Without music life would be a mistake
- Friedrich Nietzsche

Where words fail, music speaks
- Hans Christian Anderson

Music is spiritual. The music business is not
