Marci and BC ji I installed the latest version of real player yesterday and was able to see the videos finally that you guys had laboured to upload. I find the player crashing when I tried playing a couple of videos that Ant ji had u/l.

All the same I have no words to thank you guys for the awesome videos uploaded by you! Esp the Waheeda Rehman ones! She continues to take one's breath away.. Whatta beauty!

BTW what is diff. between - wmv(compressed) & other-video of Parakh (with nearly 18MB files).

Both are same or resolution wise different ?

Yes farak are two.

1. small one when you zoom it will show the pixels.. while bada file will be clear and it is definitely at a higher kbps and resolution too

2. small for bandwidth probs ppl and bada file for ppl who have unlimited b/w like me Mah darling AIRTEL

The picture labelled "jaaye to jaayen - Taxi Driver" looks to me like Nargis in either "Andaz" or "Deedar". Could you please check if it's the correct picture?

Abhay I took a screen shot of the video. The outside cover said the it is jaaye to jaaye kahan. But you are right it is from Awara and the song is Aajaao Tadapte ..

Will correct it accordingly..

Er.. actually I recollected how Aaja Re Pardesi was picturised wunly much later.. poore gaane mein kahiin Vyjayanthi dikhti hi nahiin hai ! .... and u'd already uploaded by then....

Sat thru almost 4 minutes of watching Dilip Kumar chase a shadowy figure thru the mist ..... until.. finally... there was just a few seconds of Vyjayanthimala in close-up ! Worth the wait !

You are most welcome 50some1 ji I uploaded the larger files first.. when I have the time (esp to rip the video - as I leave the system on to let it do while I go around the chores in the house) .. compressed formats dont take long to be done and I thought I could u/l once the uncompressed formats are up. But in future it will be the other way.. First compressed files.. and only if someone request for uncompressed I will u/l else will stick to compressed only, as it will not burden the server either.

Sigh! I havent seen that video.. Is it still available????????.. Till recently I never used to download videos from HF coz of the softwares crashing when I tried to view them

Mahesh ji thank you for the video of this song ek tha bachchpan. I had completely forgotten the picturisation of this song in the movie. After downloading and watching it, it brought back some nostalgic memories of watching the movie with my beloved father.

The movie itself was a tear jerker. I remember this and the other movie (which had Ashok Kumar) Anurag always made me cry endlessly till the end of the movie! (I have viewed on the tv some 3 to 4 times he he he)Phew!

The actress in this movie seemed very familiar and I notice from BCji's post that she was in the movie Guddi too! Sweet innocent looking heroines of yesteryears definitely oozed a special charm to the song sequences and make it worth watching over and over again.

Thanks a lot for this special memory raker!

Both songs from Jaggu and BKER bring forward the thoughts of a girl who is looking forward to the days of matrimony ahead of her. Unaware of the stranger, who will come into their lives to bring the joy and happiness they so look forward to and have been dreaming about.

The pining, the dreamy eyes, the desperation to know who it could be. An imaginary prince who takes her on his horse. The lyrics and tune go so well with each other.

I have seen BKER and always enjoyed the songs from this movie. This one by Lata ji always leaves you humming the tune.. something one may call a n instant intoxication. Panchamda music gives the freshness of a beautiful surroundings (a trait that was always present in his father's compositions.)

Leena is as cherubic and cute as always. Always found something charming and innocent about this lass

Nimii i have seen this movie
the story is ...Shashi kapoor and Sadhana are college mates and he likes her but she takes him lightly and with the help of her friends,tricks him into writing a love letter(Prem patra) to her. It is put up on the notice board and he gets into trouble and later looses his eyesight and needs nursing. she in the mean time is repentant, also wants to make amends so helps him recover and both fall in love......ends happily.It has some beautiful songs, yeh mere andhere ujale na hote, sawan ki raaton mein,ab yaad na aur..........sadhana looks lovely

Nimii she has acted in a few B AND C grade movies, also as a supporting actress in a few movies. The lovely song from 'Shagun', 'Tum apna ranjh o gham apni pareshani mujhe dede' was picturised on her, that was probably her first film.

Rekha ne aisa qatil dance shayad hi kisi aur gaane pe kiya ho. Director ne
shayad powder ke dabbe mein khujli wali dawai daal di thi.

So after make up, jab heroine bahar aayi to dance apne aap hone laga
aur ye ban gaya ek shandar sec C gana.

Guys and bhainses, Rekha is my fav heroine, so mere comments ko
aap burai samajhne ki galti na karen.

I am just praising the choreographer/director.
