Yuvraj - total disappointment

Only plus point is the photography in Europe and the beautiful Katrina who has never looked more lovely.

Saw it yesterday. same team different genre..a poignant film. ripped from "Bucket list" but gave a different color altogether..Worth a dekko. Couldnt tolerate Dostana though... laugh.gif escaped in the middle of the film.

HT Bhai...it is a DVD at home. Fifteen minutes is what i could tolerate and you know how easily we can slip away from the room.. laugh.gif What puts me off is the sleazy way it was portrayed...Subtlety has indeed died in films these days..sad.

10vidaniya was a wonderful movie. Truly enjoyed (and kept wiping the tears off).. a very heart warming and touching film. Vinay Pathak (actor and co-producer) deserves a big round of applause for coming up with such a path-breaking film. So what if the concept is derived from some Hollywood film.

Couldnt agree more Parag. smile.gif
It is so refreshing to see a film which can go beyond the usual boy chase girl...stories. Vinay did a fine job. I have no qualms about adoption from any language...as long as the work is good.
Saw Ghazini...with kids. It was kind of hyped movie..but Aamir did a fine job. You know? it is also an adaptation of "memento". some moments are poignant though.. smile.gif

Slumdog millionaire

Tried hard to like it...too dramatically violent. I prefer low key movies with details that catch your attention...or grand ones that are held together with some central idea... this one is for audiences who are not too familiar with hindi movies or on second thoughts...maybe with people who are too familiar with hindi movies.

Spoilers...
Come to think of it, it did some daringly obvious things with the train main bechadna and rescuing the distressed heroine from the kotha/don and got away with it... there was even a sacrificing brother angle... wow... biggrin.gif But it has some very disturbing childhood scenes... Boyle is the director of the cult hit, Trainspotting...
