Hello
I haven't been ably to find a filmography of SN Tripathi on the web so can't tell if Chudiyan was his first film but its certainly much earlier than his more established films. Can I request any member(s) having songs of Chudiyan to please upload here? The film had songs sung by Rajkumari, Prem Adeeb, Ninu Mazumbar, GM Durrani and a duet by Amirbai and the composer. Kind Regards Faraaj Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. H. Auden |

Only few people would have something that old. unless it is re-released. Incidentally, I found this snippet about S.N. Tripathi and Jeevan Naya (1936) even though MD is Sarsawati Devi. jiivan nayya - Ashok's first in which he sang "koi hamdam na rahaa, koi sahaaraa na rahaa" S. N. Tripathi sang his first song, set to music by himself: "erii dayyaa lachak lachak chalat mohan aave" http://hindi-films-songs.com/articles/1936.html This post has been edited by r&d: Jun 23 2009, 09:58 AM |
