hello friends,
here is one of my favourite soundtrack of anil biswas-1946 classic milan @128kbps.
the film was directed by nitin bose and was a bombay talkies production.
the lyrics were written by arzoo lucknavi and pyarelal santoshi.the film starred dilip kumar,pahadi sanyal,mira mishra and ranjana and was based on a tagore story.
here are the details-
1]-gungun gungun bole re bhanwarva[two parts]-parul ghosh/ly-p l santoshi-1.26 and 1.40;
2]-upar hai badariya kari,maujon mein hai naav hamari-shankardas gupta[his debut song?]/ly-p l santoshi-4.09;
3]-suhani beriya beeti jaye-parul ghosh/ly-aarzoo-2.11;
4]-jisne bana di bansuri-parul ghosh/ly-aarzoo2.39;
5]-mein kiski laaj nibhaoon-parul ghosh/ly-aarzoo-2.19;
6]-tumhe sajan manayein-geeta roy/ly-p l santoshi-0.53;
7]-woh kahein aap ki do chaah ka inaam mujhe-pahadi sanyal[his last hindi song?]/ly-aarzoo-2.09.

I will enjoy this album. All good songs and two outright all-time greats in Jisne Bana Di Bansuri and Gun Gun Bole Ghungarwa.....

Certainly an excellent album. Some extra information on picturisation:

1. Parul Ghosh Ji songs were sung for Ranjana Ji
2. Shankar Dasgupta Ji song was sung for a boatman
3. The Geeta Ji song was sung for a side - actress playing Mira Mishra Ji's neighbour.

I also think this must be Pahari Sanyal Ji's last film song. But there are small chances of him singing in Kashmir Hamara Hai (1950).
