My querry does not totally relate to above posts but my grandfather used to own some land in a place called Chak # 169:Boora Mandi
Tehsil: Cheecho Watni, District Montgomery (now Sahiwal).After 1947 we have had no contact or information about the place.Can anyone tell me about the area or give me some information about travelling there, from Lahore? Harjinder

It's nice to know that we have some shared background. I am interested in taking a look at a place where my grandfather had lived for some time.Anytime I go to Pakistan, Lahore and Chak # 169 are two places topmost on my list of places to visit. Can anyone tell me anything about this place? I am sure there are thousands of people on either side of India Pakistan border who are anxious to learn about places where their ancestors had come from. Any information about above 'Chak'would be greatly appreciated.Harjinder
