Do you get paid when you work under the Coop System and is that Work counted as Work Experience.

Definitely UCLA is a good school but we are targeting the Northeast of US or Ontario.

Nope, you dont get paid for Co-op! -- Yes it does count as ur working experience n it really succors in obtaining a reasonable job in future!!--

If ur son has already gotten the offer from Waterloo then i would say it would be really unwise to turn it down coz Waterloo is the top University of Canada -- Anyone can get into UFT, Mcmaster, York but very few ppl receive Waterloo's invitation!!--

Well - this is very late -- but just to be clear, it's not true that one dosen't get paid for co-operative work.

You DO get paid for co-op (internship). I did co-op. So did a ton of students I know. We all got paid smile1.gif

The exception would be if your co-op contract says you are volunteering, of course!
