Hi All,

Participating after a long time.

Uploading a song i wrote & composed a few weeks back.

It was visualized as sung by Lata ji.

Will be glad to know your views (critical).

Please ignore the singing lapses, which are quite evident,
just concentrate on the song's mood, lyrics & tune.

CharaagoN se zara kehde, baDee lambee judaa_ee hai
Mere ashkoN ko woh gar goad le, to kyaa buraa_ee hai?

Thanks.

A good try and nice wordings!

woman is the mirror in which man sees the reflection of his own self, his own dormant and hidden powers of genius when she comes and stands before him
A woman is a meaning to life ! Someone who loves, who cares !

Amod Ji

Honestly speaking, without being polite, I have to say I like the tune and mood it creates - very hummable and gentle paced. Lyrics have never been of that much interest to me so can't comment on them.

I will say though, that your natural singing voice is very good. If you took singing lessons (quite a few lessons tongue1.gif ), you really wouldn't need to visualise someone else singing this.

Kind Regards
Faraaj

Erum ji,

Thanks a lot for your appreciation.

Whatever i have sung is different from what i intend the tune to be .. that is to say
that apart from not being in 'sur', i have not been able to sing the various 'harkats' that
are there in the composition.

If i were to teach this song to a professional (and talented) singer to sing, i would
preferably play it on the harmonium (which i have already done). Secondly this
song is a female's expression and has to be sung by a female artist.

BTW i heard your songs on your thread. You have a good clear voice. Keep singing
and posting. (even will love to hear this song [charagoN se...] in your voice)

Regards,

Amod

Faraaj,

Thanks for your comments.

Since i do not consider myself a singer (which is good), whenever i write & compose a vintage
hindi film song (of course just as a hobby), i have to visualize the picturisation, the actors & actressess,
the playback singers (Kishore da, Rafi Saheb, Mukesh, Talat, Lata etc) in order to setup the mood, so to say.

And then the words & tune materialize. And my tunes are such that its out of my own capacity to sing!

Regards,

Amod

Hi all,

One new happening ..... May be .... Talat & Madan Mohan Combo ... atleast thats what i felt in THE dream

The lyrics ...

Khushi me, Gham me teri yaad leke jhumenge
Piyee bhi na ho magar, yaad leke jhumenge

Ghazal Ghazal me basaate use hai hum aaye
Umeed ke wohi ashiyaar leke jhumenge

Sharab se bhi nahi jab chadhe khumaar hame
Usi nazar ki wo saugaat leke jhumenge

Wo hasi pal, jo mere pyar ne kamaye hai
Usi daulat ko sar-e-aam leke jhumenge

Kabhi na jaan sake hum tumhari fitrat ko
Hu.aa badnaam jo hai naam leke jhumenge

Amod

As usual ..... Awaiting your comments..

p.s. i am not a professional singer! Just a postman trying to deliver something from 'THAT WORLD' to our world!
