People wont belive but this album is among my favs since I was in 6th class. Majrooh saab's lyrics r biggest reason. followed by Salil brilliant music. This movie has few of my very fav songs - Tasveer teri dil me( fav rafi - lata duet), koi sone ke dil wala, ja re ud ja re, and aye dil kahan teri manzil Salil da has used Counter melody to its best. rarely you such a marvellous use of counter melody in a single movie. chorus has been used brillantly in " aye dil kahan teri manzil ". check the use of saxophone in " ja re udd ja re" in saxophone as well as in couter melody in the bakgrd ! IMO saxophone used is among the best such pieces in HFM. jaan nikaal deta hai ! Lata ji ke baare in kuch kehne ki jaroorat nehi...she is alys best. this is among my fav lata songs. Song 's lyrics are my most fav for a sad song. song devoted to a totaly hopeless condition. when everything is over. (asking the bird wats now left here??......you shd also leave me.) Added to the eloquent lyrics and excellent music and Lata's Vocals, this song is also a beauty to watch, With Mala sinha doing full justice....I post a few pics..
