Colour of Blood
Each man may be different but the passion is the same The faces may be different the colour of blood is the same With the same blood, life creates a myriad of faces May the blood remain the same and not change with faces It may keep refining our spirits, No century could smear its colour It is blood that binds us together For its colour is the same One may belong to my country Or to yours The rose is a rose wherever It grows It smells the same in all lands It sprinkles sweet fragrance, Where hatred reigns In the eyes of love, the prince and beggar are the same This man's suffering is different from the man's sorrow But no one's blood is green Or yellow The same blood gushes out When hit with an arrow The same blood sings the Same sing The harp and lyre of every soul are one It may be the earth of India Or the soil of my Pak land Each drop falling on the ground Must produce the same sound Whoever bleeds the stream is the same The same passion The same music For the rhythm of everyone's Heartbeat is the same Be it India or Pakistan, Their soil will always mean To us the same People like us live here And there We should revere each other's land Since our war is against Poverty and the hunger pang Music is moral law. It gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, a charm to sadness and a gaiety and life to everything. It is the essence of order and leads to all that is good, true and beautiful..... AND Music is the mediator between the spiritual and the sensual life. ~Ludwig van Beethoven
