Drew plays the field

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The answer to the question 'Who is Drew Barrymore dating?' may depend on the day you ask. It seems the Charlie's Angels hottie is keeping her options open.
Earlier this week, Drew steamed it up with director Spike Jonze in the VIP booth of the El Rey Theatre. Witnesses observed the pair cuddling and kissing, with Drew playfully tracing Spike's mustache with her finger.
But a week ago, she was snuggling up with Scrubs star Zach Braff in New York City. Their romance began casually back in February, and was revived a few weeks ago when they were spotted making out on a dance floor.
A witness to Zach and Drew's smooching said, "There was a moment when they kissed and it seemed almost blissful."

Catherine gave kids ultimatum to Michael Douglas

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy: Catherine Zeta-Jones

Catherine Zeta-Jones would have refused husband Michael Douglas's marriage proposal if the movie star opted not to have kids with her.
The Chicago star admits Douglas' cheesy chat-up line, "I want to father your children," struck a nerve with her, as she was beginning to think seriously about starting a family.
Zeta-Jones tells America's Parade magazine she then set about discovering whether or not Douglas was serious about becoming a dad.
She explains, "I was already in love with him, but there was one thing I had to be sure of. I turned to him and said, 'Do you really want children?'
"I thought, for that one minute, he was going to say, 'I already have a son, Cameron', and I would have to say goodbye. I remember saying defiantly, 'I cannot live without having children'. And he went, 'Me too'."
The couple now have two young kids, Dylan and Carys.

Cameron's green lover

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The latest: David de Rothschild
It didn't take long for Cameron Diaz to lose her Angel. As soon as subpoenas and press coverage started surrounding her relationship with Criss Angel, she moved on… this time with a wealthy British environmentalist.

Cam is said to be dating David de Rothschild, the heir to a banking fortune. The pair was first spotted at the Live Earth concert this past Saturday in New Jersey.

According to witnesses, they hung out in the VIP section of the event, and seemed pretty friendly. A few days later, they were spotted at New York City's Stanton Social Restaurant, and the attraction was evident.
A source told press, "They flirted and touched throughout their meal. They were really into each other."

David was named runner-up to Prince William in Tatler magazine's hottest British Bachelors in 2003.

Is Hugh Grant engaged to on/off girlfriend Jemima Khan?
Tuesday, July 17, 2007 23:35 IST

The actor has reportedly got engaged to on/off girlfriend Jemima Khan

Despite the pair claiming they are no longer an item, friends insist that Hugh Grant and Jemima Khan have rekindled their romance, with Hugh allegedly popping the question.

Jemima, who has two sons with her first husband, Pakistani cricketing legend Imran Khan is believed to have said “yes” but has doubts about walking down the aisle again.

A friend said, “They started seeing each other again in April. It was on the understanding that they would give it a proper shot and that if they could make it work, they would marry.”

Sources claim they are reluctant to announce the engagement as Jemima’s mother, Lady Annabel, has warned her 33-year-old daughter not to rush into anything.

One said, “Hugh has instructed Jemima not to say anything until they make an official announcement. Jemima knows she needs to be 100 percent certain that this is the right thing for her, which is why they have been so cagey about going public.”

Last month, the couple who split in February after three years together were spotted enjoying dinner at the Ritz hotel in Paris. Last weekend, they were snapped sharing lunch at a London restaurant.

Hugh, 46, recently revealed he’s in a hurry to get married now he’s getting older but admitted he’s still scared of commitment.

He had said, “I told myself that being single in your thirties is fine. But at 46 it’s a bit worrying! I would like to get married but at the same time I’m horrified by those couples that I see around me and the lack of affection and passion that can result from the passing of time.”

Hugh proposes to Jemima

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A knotty affair: Hugh Grant with Jemima Khan

Hugh Grant has finally given in and proposed to on-off girlfriend Jemima Khan after begging her to take him back, according to his friends.
He has proposed, but Jemima isn't sure whether she wants to enter another marriage, a source told the Daily Mail.
"They started seeing each other again in April. It was on the understanding that they would give it a proper shot and that if they could make it work, they would marry."
Jemima is stalling because she has already been through one divorce, to cricketer Imran Khan and she doesn't want to endure another one, especially given Hugh's earlier reluctance to wed in the first place.
Her mum, Lady Annabel, is also notoriously against the marriage and so Jemima is taking her time to make up her mind and go public on the nuptials.
But secret dinners at the Ritz and conveniently bumping into each other in Pairs shows that they are determined to be close, married or not.

Love at first sight for Johnny Depp

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JOHNNY Depp has spoken of his "love at first sight" attraction to long-term lover Vanessa Paradis.
Depp, who has been with Paradis for 10 years and is rumoured to be getting married soon, says, "You have this feeling — I can't really explain what it was, but I had it when I met Vanessa. I saw her across a room and I thought, 'What's happening to me?' I had no way of knowing how great a person she was or how great a mother she would be."
Depp added that even when he tried to resist, he felt like Paradis was the one for him.
"I can remember thinking the last thing in the world I wanted was a relationship, but it was impossible to escape. I was gone," he said.

And Jen has recently been spotted wearing an OmniPeace vest top.

Harry Potter has a mustache!

Daniel Radcliffe trades in the big screen for the small screen, slipping into a WWI uniform and a faux-mustache on the Dublin, Ireland, set of his upcoming TV film My Boy Jack.
The film is based on the true story of Rudyard Kipling, who used his influence to get his 17-year-old son Jack (Radcliffe) a commission with the Irish Guards, despite his son's poor eyesight.
Jack went missing in action during the Battle of Loos and his mother and father carried out an ardent search for him, spanning many years and many miles of soul-destroying discovery.

Hollywood’s star couple Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may be moving to be a bigger house, but they still plan on keeping the same sleeping arrangements – separate bedrooms.

Star Magazine reports that they have different wings of their Beverly Hills mansion, and the situation works better for them. A source said: “Of course they spend time together at night like most married couples; after all, they conceived Suri!

“In fact, they even joke about having separate bedrooms to their friends. Katie says Tom snores, and this way she can get her beauty sleep!”

The source also claims that they’ve always had this arrangement.

“At first, it was because Katie was Catholic and single, and they were only dating. It was the proper thing to do. Now that they are married, they don’t feel the need to alter the arrangement. Tom has his master bedroom, and Katie has hers.”

Katie yearned to decorate her room herself: "Over the course of several months, Katie created a larger space to have as her own.

“In the end, she designed the room of her dreams, a very feminine room painted in pastel colours, with a small carousel and filled with many stuffed animals.”

Ross Gellar's illegal naukri

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I wasn’t always a good guy

Former Friends star David Schwimmer has damaged his clean-cut reputation — he once made a living selling illegal photocopier supplies.
The actor/director (40) worked at the shady business before finding fame in the mid-90s as Ross Gellar in the hit US show.
He says, "It was an illegal operation run out of a dilapidated building and when I showed up one day the entire place had been boarded up by the police."
Meanwhile, David has ruled out getting married in the near future — because he is too committed to work.
David — who has previously dated pop beauty Natalie Imbruglia — would love to settle down but doesn't have the time or energy to focus on a relationship right now.
He said: "I live in Manhattan and New York is a great city to be single in, there are lots of opportunities to meet women.
"I think I would be really happy having a family and being a devoted father. But I have no plans to get married yet. First of all I need to find a healthier work-life balance, because I just don't have the energy or time to give a relationship what it deserves."

‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria wants to put off motherhood for a while because she doesn’t want to leave the show. Longoria recently married French basketball star Tony Parker and revealed that right now she wants to put her career first.

Contactmusic.com quoted her as saying: “Tony wants children and so do I, but I’m also involved in a very successful series, which has been the greatest break in my career and I have to be respectful of that. This is our fourth series now, so having a baby is a huge decision. We’re going to wait and think a while before we make that step.”

Daniel Radcliffe has been named Best Actor at the inaugural National Movie Awards — billed as ‘Britain’s answer to the Oscars’.

The Harry Potter star picked up the gong on Friday night at the glitzy ceremony after beating off competition from James Bond star Daniel Craig and Pirates Of The Caribbean favourite Johnny Depp.

It was good news for his co-star Emma Watson too, she was named Best Female ahead of Keira Knightley and Dami Judi Dench, whilst Harry Potter and the Order Of The Phoenix won Best Family Film.

Meanwhile, Radcliffe is determined to shed his cute boy wizard image once and for all. Not content with appearing nude on stage as a troubled stable-boy in Equus, he’s now auditioning to play a homosexual spy.

The actor, who is currently filming the latest Harry Potter movie, wants to play Cambridge scholar Guy Burgess, who as a 1930s boarding school boy fell in love with his friend.

“I’d never play a gay character just for the sake of it,” the 18-year-old told Daily Star, “But if the script was good and it was a good character, it wouldn’t bother me. Playing characters exploring their sexuality is a challenge.”

LONDON: Former "Friends" star Jennifer Aniston sells more magazines than any other celebrity, as declared by a survey conducted by Forbes magazine.

Contactmusic.com reports that magazine sales increase when Aniston's face is on the cover. The survey also revealed that Aniston appeared at least once on the covers of seven leading weekly magazines from January 2007 to June 2007.

Her face on the cover has sold almost five million copies of various magazines collectively.

Posted by: Dimple Oct 5 2007, 01:11 PM

It seems people can’t get enough of Jennifer Aniston and neither can popular celebrity magazines in the US.

Aniston sits atop Forbes.com’s first-ever analysis of top-selling famous faces, based on several factors, including news-stand sales of celebrity weeklies over a six-month period ending June 30, as supplied by the Audit Bureau of Circulations.

The 38-year-old actress graced six covers — appearing on every magazine except In Touch Weekly at least once during the time period — with her face collectively selling more than 5 million copies.

Aniston’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, takes second place on the list, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Angelina Jolie, Reese Witherspoon, Katie Holmes, Carrie Underwood, Jennifer Hudson, Valerie Bertinelli and Kelly Ripa.

Britney Spears couldn’t make it to the list even though the 25-year-old pop star snagged 18 single covers during the six-month period. Britney’s face fails when it comes to sales, Forbes.com said, and she is only slightly more likable than Paris Hilton.

Consumers have grown tired of her consistently bad behaviour, In Touch Weekly editor in chief Richard Spencer is quoted as saying.

“Usually there’s a roller-coaster of emotions,” he says. “But unfortunately for Britney, there’s been no roller-coaster lately — there’s just been the downhill.”

Also missing from the list: Lindsay Lohan and Jessica Simpson.

Forbes.com calculated the tabloid appeal of a celebrity by comparing how many issues a cover sold with the magazine’s average news-stand sales. The website then factored in the number of full covers a celeb graced, and ranked his or her consumer appeal using data from Encino, Calif-based polling firm E-Poll Market Research to rule out flukes.

MUMBAI: Rough estimates suggest that Rs 700 crore of foreign studio funds is floating in Bollywood right now. Walt Disney
, Sony, Warner, Fox Star and

Paramount are all headed for tinsel town. Every Hollywood studio is figuring out the best possible entry into the Indian market, trade insiders say.

The American film market has been stagnant for about eight months now, forcing Hollywood studios to scout for growth opportunities. The global meltdown, in fact, may have actually precipitated the foreign studios' entry into India, say experts.

Low investments (the dollar is much stronger than the rupee), a strong domestic film market (Bollywood is the biggest producer of movies in the world) and huge growth potential makes India a very lucrative market now, they explain.

"Their aim is to connect with the world's largest cine-going audience," Vipul Shah, who has entered into a Rs-150-crore deal with Fox-Star Studios, says.

Walt Disney Company (India) managing director Mahesh Samat reveals that the firm's plans for 2009-'10 include alliances with Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies and Kamal Haasan for live action films. Disney will also collaborate with Yashraj on a second animation film.

A quick rewind shows that Warner has tied up with Nikhil Advani, Sony has collaborated with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Disney has a stake in UTV and collaborations with Shah Rukh/Yashraj/Kamal Haasan; Viacom, Paramount's parent organisation has a stake in Indian Film Company (Studio 18); and Fox-Star has tied up with Shah.

"We are very serious about the Bollywood market," Fox Star Studios India CEO Vijay Singh says. "The deal with Vipul Shah will see co-development of projects rather than just green-lighting films. In an increasingly globalised scenario, this is only but natural."

Foreign studios have also been making a thorough study of the hierarchy in Bollywood, a trade insider says. Reports suggest Fox was keen to collaborate with Karan Johar prior to its signing up with Shah. Johar reportedly asked for Rs 220 crore and wasn't keen on parting with his next directorial project, My Name Is Khan, as part of the Rs-220-crore deal, say Bollywood insiders. But, as Fox Star India had set aside Rs 150 crore for its first investment, it chose to partner with Shah.

Shah adds: "It's no longer about the vanity of being attached to a foreign studio. There are very tangible benefits that both sides bring to each other. The Indian middle class is perhaps the biggest in the world; and they're also comparatively young. The preferred mode of entertainment is films and it is going to remain so for a long time to come. Bollywood's fundamentals remain very strong, making it lucrative for Hollywood studios."

Film marketing professional Vikramjit Roy says: "We live in an era where co-operation and joint ventures are natural. A tie-up with a Hollywood or some other international studio brings in scale (in terms of markets, fund flows and operations) and professional and technical expertise and this adds to the creative process here. As the market for Indian cinema continues to grow internationally, these global networks will allow Indian film producers to showcase their work outside the home market and get greater exposure for their films."

Aniston breaks silence over Brangelina affair
PTI
Wednesday, November 12, 2008 14:15 IST

LONDON: Breaking her silence over the split with ex-husband Brad Pitt for the first time, Jennifer Aniston has blamed Angelina Jolie for being 'uncool' about her affair.

"What Angelina did was very uncool... but I'm still in touch with Brad," Jennifer Aniston revealed in an interview to celebrity magazine Vogue's December issue.

Aniston said she felt Jolie was not right when she spoke about falling in love with Pitt during the shooting of a film while he was still married to her. The actress says she had no idea that her husband was falling in love with Jolie as they filmed 'Mr and Mrs Smith' in 2005.

For years, Aniston had remained tight-lipped about Angelina's role in their break-up but thirty-nine year old former 'Friends' star has now slammed Jolie in the latest interview.

Aniston said she found the truth only two years ago when Jolie gave an interview to the magazine about how her affair with Pitt began on the sets of the film.

Aniston said, "There was stuff printed there that was definitely from a time when I was unaware that it was happening. I felt those details were a little inappropriate to discuss," Dailymail said quoting her.

Jolie and Pitt had earlier said that they fell in love only after Pitt separated from Aniston, his wife for five years.

But Aniston's relationship with her former husband has remained cordial even after the break-up.

"I have nothing but absolute admiration for him, and I'm proud of him. We have exchanged a few very kind hellos and wishing you wells and sending you love and congratulations on your babies," she told Vogue.

Aniston also talked about her current relationship with singer John Mayer, ex-boyfriend Vince Vaughan.

Speaking on her divorce with Pitt, Aniston said, "Well, it never was that bad. I mean, look, it's not like divorce is something that you go, "Oooh, I can't wait to get divorced!" It doesn't feel like a tickle.

"...in the end, we really had an amicable split. It wasn't mean and hateful and all of this stuff that they tried to create about Brad can't talk to Jen and Jen can't talk to Brad because this person won't allow it.

"It just didn't happen. The marriage didn't work out," she said.

After the separation both stars came to an understanding by discussing things, the actress said.

"And pretty soon after we separated, we got on and we had a long, long conversation with each other and said a lot of things, and ever since we've been unbelievably warm and respectful of each other," Aniston revealed.

Aniston, who will be seen in the romantic film "Marley and Me", also rubbished the idea that she was unlucky in love.

"This whole "Poor lonely Jen" thing, this idea that I'm so unlucky in love? I actually feel I've been unbelievably lucky in love."

Talking about her current boyfriend, singer John Mayer she said, "We care about each other. It's funny when you hit a place in a relationship and you both realize, "We maybe need to do something else," but you still really, really love each other.

Aniston has also patched-up with her mother. The duo fell out when her mother Nancy talked about her in media.
