Mahi Ve Sanu Bhol........lambiyan Udeekan- Noor Jehan, Lyricst? composer? Noor jehan ( and Dolly singh) Options

First time I heard this song was in the voice of dolly singh. and that was debut album of Dolly singh it had one more nice song " batiyan bhujaiyi rakhdi" and music was by Surinder bachhan .

Both of these songs were very popular indian side. infact this song originaly sung by Noor jehan is now more known as by Dolly singh( in indian side ! )

At tht time I had got both of these songs recorded in my cassette. Surinder bachan gave nice treatment to song. addition of chorus in new version was very good.

Laterz I heard original Noor jehan verison. and liked tht one also. infact this happened with me 3rd time tht the song I used to think were by other artists , thier orgiinal turned out to be of Noor jehan . ! one more song was "kende ne naina tere kol" which was sung by Harbhajan shera. and in two cases Music director was Surinder bachan.


Here Iam posting the lyrics of Original song sung by Noor jehan. the tunes used in songs are very good and lyrics too are just zabardast !

Excellent song !. purane version ka maja hi aur hai............violin aur instruments ka treatment bilkul 60s ke wala hai !
