I think we should first work on the data. That is what is the most time consuming part. Wish someone can type the 1930-40 and missing 60s films in the spreadsheet first.

you are right Sangeet ji
this thought because of anybody can type in same way.. always easy to enter data in such tool rather than creating excel/ access data base. In such tool easy to import to compile..
this is just thought ..anyways

The thing is if you have data in excel, access ( any digital format) conversion is not difficult. Q is WHO is going to convert the data that is only available in that book to some digital format? Since balaji has already done 50s and 80-2K is done as well. 60-70 is 70% done, somebody has to initiative to make a digital version ( any format, type it in word for that matter) of the remaining data is what i am telling. Obviously people are busy and not everyone has a geetkosh so onus falls on people who really want it.
