Hi guys i am uploading an amazing video of MOHAMMED RAFI SAHAB in next two days.He is doing his daily routine in this video.
This video shows both the professional and personnal facets of RAFI SAHAB.HE is singing different songs.
I am uploading this video in 24 parts each part is 5.29MB, in next two days.as my net speed is very slow.This file size is 131MB.
When i went to MUMBAI on 24th Dec 2005,i met RAFI SAHAB FAN club lead by G.M.ANSARI and RASHID.They helped me to visit RAFI SAHAB's old and new banglow.If anyone from MUMBAI wants to contact them i can give him/her thier numbers.They sent me this CD few days back.I am thankful to them.

I have one big file but as you know we cannot upload big files moreover there is a change of disconnection of internet.

Well you won't be able to see anything untill u download all 24 files and then extract it.Its an MPEG file ,you don't even need any codec for it.I am at office now,will complete the uploading as i each home.
RAFI SAHAB is playing carrom board with his family,going to studioes,recording songs,HIS patriotism is also show why showing GHANDHI JI's songs,NEHRU(meri aawaaz suno) and LAL BAHADUR(HE is stading with him and singing song on RADIO i guess).
It even shows HIS funeral.

Nope 25th file is fine,i don't think you will face any problems in playing the file.Siza is 131Mb i guess

help i can't play it in winamp. in which player i can play it?
what is the size of this file? 137.929.380mb or 134.840.339mb?
i think part 25 isn't uploaded very well
can u pls re-upload part 25 pls
same 4 me, but I can play ot in VLC, but only 13 min. Isn't it longer ? it stops unaturally i guess

I am posting few snaps of RAFI SAHAB's birthday celebration by this FAN CLUB.
I am standing on the left side in blue with RAFI SAHAB's clone who is a doctor.He told me he is from LUCKNOW.
RAFI SAHAB's GRAVE.
RAFI SAHAB's new banglow these one of the shop is in RAFI SAHAB's wife's name.

I am stading with RAFI SAHAB's car,still well maintained.
Instructions in RAFI SAHAB's grave yard,I checked these instructions still i don't agree with the authority to cover RAFI SAHAB's grave.Its a MECCA for all music lovers.I asked the guard and he said that mostly people visit to pay thier tribute to RAFI SAHAB,though this grave yard has many celebs grave including MADHUBALA and PARVEEN BABIE.He named few more i forgot their names.Sorry for this
You all are welcome from the bottom of my heart,even i have got some of the most invaluable songs from HF,i have been getting rarest of rare collection from HF be it RAFI SAHAB,BEGUM AKHTAR,LATA MANGESHKAR,MEHDI HASSAN,GHULAM ALI and BENGLA songs.
I am giving you the contact number of GM ANSARI(he is leading the RAFI SAHAB FAN CLUB in MUMBAI),very soft spoken and helpful person,when he came to know that i went to MUMBAI from DELHI via GUJARAT only to attend RAFI SAHAB's birthday he and all the members warm heartedly welcomed me.
I met RAFI SAHAB's clone who is a doctor,it is he who has the diary of RAFI SAHAB,on the way to RAFI SAHAB's banglow i was having conversation with him,he invited me to his place but he was disappointed when he came to know that i had to leave MUMBAI in the evening.
There is one more person named RASHID who checks the e-mails very nice guy,he and G.M ANSARI always call up me from MUMBAI.Though they are very busy person but i surprised how they manage so much time for this FAN CLUB.I will be thankful to these people for their time and engery spent on me when i visited MUMBAI,without their help my visit to RAFI SAHAB's BANGLOWS would have been very difficult because i was a stranger.

The CD has two files,1st is around 400MB, the 1st half of this video has DOORDARSHAN records of RAFI SAHAB's songs along with NAUSHAD's commentary.2nd half is what i have uploaded for you people.
The 2nd files is 350MB plus i tried everything, played it on different system,even tried in DVD drive but its not readin the file and says its INVALID.I will ask ANSARI BHAI to send me a fresh copy if possible.BTW i am still trying to copy the 2nd file,it might have few more rare videoes of RAFI SAHAB.

I don't mind to u/l the DOORDARSHAN program file but the quality is very bad as compare to this file,i think some members have a better quality this this one.
I would insist if someone can u/l good quality of DOORDARSHAN file.And please don't u/l encorded file just to save some space,i could have reduced the above file to save space but since the file is of poor quality i had't done that.

It is working fine with real player.I think if you have the latest real player you can watch the file.

I finally succeeded in playing the file. I downloaded a new player from download.com. Its called JetAudio and can play allmost all existing audio/video-files they say, so I tried it and it worked!!! Without any problems. So if anyone has problems like I did, d/l this player and you'll succeed.
Humble-Ji, I most congratulate you and thank you for this terrific video. You should be awarded the Best Upload of The Year-Award, since this is definately the best thing I've seen so far on internet on Rafi-sahab.
I already had heard the interview on audio, but seeing it on video is something else. I hope you surprise us with more rare stuff.

Never expected to see something like this. Watching Rafi Sahab on video is equal to Goosebumps and I enjoyed every minute of it. Humble Rafi ji, hats off to you! A great U/L and one that we would all cherish for a long time.
Unfortunately, DD has such great archives but they seem to be quite happy to keep them in their cupboards. It's time that they take inspiration from the west and put this stuff on DVDs after cleaning them and digitally re-mastering them. Imagine how much they can earn through such initiatives. Well, for the moment, I suppose it would just remain an unfulfilled wish.

USRAFIAN Ji, once you have downloaded all the files, unzip the first one and the rest will be automatically unzipped along side and one mpeg file would be made. So, you don't need to combine them, it would be done automatically. All you need to do is to unzip them with Winzip after all the files have been downloaded.

I tried to burn Rafi's Video as backup on my CD-RW... but i didnt get it right.. maybe the file is too large..
Help Needed... Could you please guide me with it ... as i do not know much about all this computer stuff.. thanks..
I have Cd-Rw which is 700 MB data and i think the file Rafi's video is about 131 MB .. i think i need to break it into 2 parts .. right? If yes.. how do it... so that it can fit in my 700 MB CD-rw..

Well i guess your facing the issue because your want to burn the CD as VCD and because of this its increasing the file size.
Simply burn the CD as DATA CD not VIDEO CD.This will only take 131MB.

Dear all,
For the last 2 days I have been trying like mad to see Rafi saheb's video but am unable to!!!
I have spent 20 hours in all!!!
I downloaded all the files
then I unzipped them one by one by using winzip
Still I could not play the video
Then I downloaded JetAudio
Still could not play
Then I converted the files to RAR format
I still cant play!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I have messed up the whole download
MY KNOWLEGE OF COMPUTERS IS PROBABLY POOR

There are 2 options.
1.If you want to play the the backed up CD in VCD player you have to save the MPEG file as video.There will be options in your CD writing S/W for that.(Make video CD)
2.If you need a backup only and no need to play in your VCD player then it will be better to save the MPEG file as data.(Make data CD).

Dear Razaul Bhai,
Starting from the beginning:
I right clicked on the 1st part - 5.3mb
Then I saved it
Likewise I downloaded all 26 files. The last one was 1.4mb
The computer said they are .RAR files
So I downloaded something which made each file look like 3 books bound together!
Then unzipped them but they are not becoming one big file of 131mb!!!!
i am getting so frustrated.................!!!

This is the way i unzipped them
1. D/L all 25 files
2. Are they all in the correct order
i.e

Thats exactly how I did it as well.
I used WinRAr. Selected all 25 files and then pushed the "etxract"-button.
WinRar then shows you to which path and file it is going to extract the RAR-files. You can chgange that if you want to and then all 25 files will extract to 1 MPG-file.
That part was easy for me. I had problems playing it, but thats also past tence now.

The windows-way: select the first file, then press "SHIFT", and while you keep "SHIFT" pressed, use the down-arrow to select all other files. Once you see that they're all selected, release "SHIFT" and push "EXTRACT" (in WInRar). After that it will show you the destination path, and filename. If thats Ok for you then confirm it. It will extract all 25 files to 1 file.
Please try, even a anpadh in computerland like me did it, so its not so difficult.

I've tried 4 different players, but they all fail to play the file. 2 of them said that the "class is not registered". Is that problem solved with these codecs???

It is working fine with real player.I think if you have the latest real player you can watch the file.
Thanks again Humble Rafi bhai.The most touching moment in the video for me was the moment in which shows Lataji in tears on the day of Rafi saab's demise.I couldn't control myself.At that moment I realized that how much I love these two .
Very touching indeed to see her like that. If I'm correct you can see Usha-ji next to her also in tears. I started crying when I saw the crowd throwing flowers to Rafi-sahab in the funeral-procession.
A man loved by the people was gone. The crowd was huge!

if you burn the rafi video as a backup on a CD-RW
it will play on your dvd.
i tried it yesterday and it works on my DVD-player

I have Cd-Rw which is 700 MB data and i think the file Rafi's video is about 131 MB .. i think i need to break it into 2 parts .. right? If yes.. how do it... so that it can fit in my 700 MB CD-rw..

There are 2 options.
1.If you want to play the the backed up CD in VCD player you have to save the MPEG file as video.There will be options in your CD writing S/W for that.(Make video CD)
2.If you need a backup only and no need to play in your VCD player then it will be better to save the MPEG file as data.(Make data CD).

Firstly winrar is a must.I think it can be downloaded from net freely.
Once winrar is installed in ur comp then everything is easy.
When you download the attachements (25 parts) download all the files in one folder(for ex d:\music)
then it is easy.Right click the any attachement(for ex part1) and click 'Extract here'.
job is over (if all the 25 rar file is there )
Now in ur PC you can see
mohammadrafisaahab.mpeg in ur d:\music folder.
Play using Real player.

4.Click 'Add'

9.Wait for some time till a message come('Burning completed succesfully')

USRAFIAN Ji, once you have downloaded all the files, unzip the first one and the rest will be automatically unzipped along side and one mpeg file would be made. So, you don't need to combine them, it would be done automatically. All you need to do is to unzip them with Winzip after all the files have been downloaded.

First, please make sure you've downloaded ALL the files. Even if one file is missing, the rest won't extract.
Secondly, you need the WINRAR software on your computer to extract the files. It is a free download.
I downloaded all the files and was able to extract without any problems, at the first go.

This is for all friends who have found problems while extracting files. Please do the following steps:
1. Make sure that all the 25 files are downloaed
2. Check the File Numbers whether they are in sequence *
3. Extract them in a specific folder
4. One file with the name "Mohammed Rafi Sahab.MPG" will be obtained
5. Run the file with a player like "Real Player" and enjoy the rare gem
6. Say thanks to Humble Rafi Bhai for this rare video
* Please note that all the file names must be in sequence. If there is no sequence and files have different numbers (if downloaded by "Download Accelerator", file numbers may differs) then follow the steps:
1. Backup your files
2. Sort out the files
3. Rename all the files like 1.rar, 2.rar, ...., 25.rar
4. After renaming extract them and do the remaining step as mentioned above
This may solve the problem.

This video shows both the professional and personnal facets of RAFI SAHAB.HE is singing different songs.
I am uploading this video in 24 parts each part is 5.29MB, in next two days.as my net speed is very slow.This file size is 131MB.
When i went to MUMBAI on 24th Dec 2005,i met RAFI SAHAB FAN club lead by G.M.ANSARI and RASHID.They helped me to visit RAFI SAHAB's old and new banglow.If anyone from MUMBAI wants to contact them i can give him/her thier numbers.They sent me this CD few days back.I am thankful to them.

Well in my family my father and uncles had seen RAFI SAHAB's LIVE performance in Netaji Indoor Stadium and in other venues.I do have many videoes of RAFI SAHAB.The CD from which I have extracted the above file has another 200MB file which is corrupt.I had a word with my friend Dhiren(HF) he said he will get a liquid solution from London to retrieve data from the CD.
If it does happen then we can see a few more rare videoes of RAFI SAHAB.I don't want to expriment with that CD as it is very fragile.

Thanks sir for uploading...my Ratio is not allowing me to download...i will dowload it as my ratio allows me...i am sharing Rafi saab's complete Indradhanush programe's TV Recording...i have used the same software to split the footage...Duration of the programe is 34 minutes and 6 seconds in 340 Mb size splited into 19 parts...thanks

First, unzip all the seven parts into one folder, then click to hjsplit.exe and again click to join button then select input file as Mohammed Rafi Sahab.MPG.001 and finally click start button. All the seven parts will be joined to one single file.

So when I join all the 18 parts, there is only 129.024 mb in the output file. Please upload correct file.
Anyway this is a great tribute to Mohd. Rafi Saheb on his 35th Death anniversary on 31st July 2014.
