Ok, may be this is too easy for some of you, yet here it is. I like the ghazal and the singing as well..
Identify the singer... anurag Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living". I fear if I examined it, then according to Heisenberg uncertainty principle it would somehow change. After all, we are just particles.

Bawara, confused you all right, did n't I? This is a ghazal sung by some Pakistani singer called Masood khan, music I don't know who composed. Actually, there is striking resemblance in his voice and Jagjit's - at least for a minute or so in the song and the music is also quite similar to what Jagjit Singh used to have in his albums in late 80s and early 90s. I have no idea where I got it from and it seems there is just this ghazal of his that I have. Would n't mind listening to more, if someone has.. anurag Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living". Hi Anu! Soory for my long absence. Masood Khan is a famous ghazal singer of Pakistan. He sings with his wife Sheelu khan. They are normally called 'Masood Khan sheelu Khan' (Just like jagjit singh Chitra Singh). They copy the style and music of Jagjit Sing conciously. They started ghazal singing in mid 90s. |

Nadeem, this is interesting info. No wonder, the whole thing just sounded like Jagjit singh's stuff only! I'd like to hear more of them - I just had this one ghazal that I uploaded. When you get time, upload a few that you think are the best by him. anurag Socrates said, "The unexamined life is not worth living".
