Musical stalwarts,
keeping up with my tradition of posting topics propaanusar here is one more from the dim-witted pea brain India, the land of the holy Ganga and many more rivers needlessly has been used time and again in many of our films and innumerable songs have been pictured on them too . instead of restricting ourselves to just a boat and river let us diversify by listing songs pictured on boat/ship/raft/ in paddle/lake/river /sea the favourite props used in Indian Cinema very generously me starting the list with the song from Baiju Bawra This post has been edited by ragam-tanam-pallavi: Sep 16 2009, 07:16 PM |

Friends,
To the attention of the Sailors os Boats in river/lake. Please ensure the safety of the boat first and don't run or crowd within the boat. Kerala witnesses one of the worst boat tragedies in its history, after KTDC’s new double-decker boat ‘Jalakanyaka’ overturned at Manakkavala in Thekkady, on the 30th of September 2009, 42 tourists on board a double decker boat in Thekkady lake were killed when the boat capsized in the lake. A total of 82 persons were travelling on the boat named 'Jalakanyaka' As per the preliminary reports, the accident took place when a large number of tourists rushed to one side of the boat to see one wild animal spotted on the forest. In that sudden movement, the boat capsized. But this initial report was challenged with some of the rescued tourists reported some structural problems with the boat. Videos at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gdwz4_Djhlo gop |
