Former Argentine football star Armando Maradona waves to the press in Cartagena, Colombia. Maradona said that he is in Cartagena just for holidays, denying rumors that he arrived in town to submit to surgery to reduce his belly.

You sud see him now. He look alright after the surgery that permanent damage is still there but shape wise I mean... guy looks good. He was a guest at Ciro Ferrara's farewell to football game last month. He has a chip on each shoulder but my word he carries it off so well!

Really? Is that wot he said? Doesnt sound like the sort of thing Mardona wud say. He's likely to come out with 1 of the following:

1) His mother is of a questionable profession
2) His manhood is small

Seems the old man's finally grown up! Better late than never! At 43, and as father of grown-up kids, Maradona has probably decided he can't be talking like adolescents all his life...
The latest pictures were taken last Sunday... what a great transformation in a matter of just six months!

Thanks guys, I am so happy that he has got all that fat away. I hope he can keep fit.

He is the sportsman I have admired the most. My interst in socceer fell from 100 % to 10% once he retired.

His talent is unique...besides Pele I have not seen anyone yet that can be in the same league.

Maradonna ......the magicain of soccer.

May be I should also have a thread called Maradonna's magic.

Yeah Maradonna dodged all the poms.....ha ha....what a goal. I also like the goal he scored by his hand..showed he could also be lethal not only by his legs but also his hands.....LOL...poor poms.
