I remember that song, very melodious. Check the Damini song, "Gawah Hain Chand Taare Gawah Hain" exactly the same opening!

In fact both these songs are 'inspired' from a Swahili song 'Malaika', which was popularised in India by none other than Usha Uthup. You must've heard that song too. |

I have not yet got that song.....(IMO) "Pukaro tum kaha ho" is better sung by RL than KS in "Gawa hain"...... Of course "Malaika" by Lata M is superb. Rgds, Debu. |
