Aditya..that is right. smile.gif
I found him very impressive in the role of Hercule Poirot.

Here is one more film which fascinated me when i saw it in my teens...what more sinister can happen under the water of unfathomable depths ?? smile.gif

Which movie?

One of my favorites... cynical romance with wonderful, nuanced dialogue, it opens with the shot of a garbage collector picking up trash in a gondola in Venice...the guy just ordered moon in his champagne for dinner!

Wonderful indeed Madhavi

Life is a Cabaret old chum and Wilkommen were the best songs for me and the whole fact of seeing a modern day musical shot in almost a German expressionist style (which I'm very fond of) was especially impressive. Kander and Ebb are now forgotten as a songwriting team but wrote some nice songs for Cabaret. Another of their tuneful collaborations was The Rink - which was unfortunately never turned into a film...

I generally prep myself a little before watching a movie, I believe it has its advantages, but I had not read up much on this one when I saw it. I still remember the sense of wonder and satisfaction I felt when I watched this movie.
