Aditya..that is right.
I found him very impressive in the role of Hercule Poirot. Here is one more film which fascinated me when i saw it in my teens...what more sinister can happen under the water of unfathomable depths ?? After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Which movie?
One of my favorites... cynical romance with wonderful, nuanced dialogue, it opens with the shot of a garbage collector picking up trash in a gondola in Venice...the guy just ordered moon in his champagne for dinner! HB, you got it. Never heard of this film, but the rave reviews are tempting..
Here is one timeless classic.. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

Guess the movie../ pair See No Evil, Hear No Evil starring Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder....obscenely funny....loved it as a kid....the blind man (Pryor) car-driving sequence was my favourite as a kid... Kind Regards Faraaj Music expresses that which cannot be said and on which it is impossible to be silent. - Victor Hugo There is only one better thing than music - live music. - Jacek Bukowski I hate music, especially when it's played. - Jimmy Durante No good opera plot can be sensible, for people do not sing when they are feeling sensible. - W. As long as they don't make the world a stink, its ok. HB..trust me, these days kids are like pretty dolls. Absolutely no stink.. Thanks to diapers et al. See No Evil, Hear No Evil starring Richard Pryor/Gene Wilder....obscenely funny....loved it as a kid....the blind man (Pryor) car-driving sequence was my favourite as a kid... Faraaj, you said it all. i wonder what happened to those genre these days... Both of them never laughed on screen, yet made us all laugh which is what comedy is about.. After silence that which comes nearest to expressing the inexpressible is music.

A wonderful film... tell me if you need some more clues... Wonderful indeed Madhavi Life is a Cabaret old chum and Wilkommen were the best songs for me and the whole fact of seeing a modern day musical shot in almost a German expressionist style (which I'm very fond of) was especially impressive. Kander and Ebb are now forgotten as a songwriting team but wrote some nice songs for Cabaret. Another of their tuneful collaborations was The Rink - which was unfortunately never turned into a film... I generally prep myself a little before watching a movie, I believe it has its advantages, but I had not read up much on this one when I saw it. I still remember the sense of wonder and satisfaction I felt when I watched this movie. "This isn't right, this isn't even wrong."
