Why can't I see the attachments sometimes? Do I need to change any of my computer's options.

A complete comp greenhorn.

Edward I am sure you are pulling our collective leg, as you are 133 posts old. Meaning, you have been around long enough to know that after 30 days, attachments are cleaned out. Only their footprint is left behind to tell us that there used to be an attachment here.

Beyond that logic, if you still cannot see the attachments, try the following:
(1) try increasing the brightness of your screen, so that the characters are visible
(2) try anti-virus. There are viruses that eat up selective portions of the screen.
(3) Replace your pc.
(4) Replace your reading glasses (else get your first brand new pair)
(5) Dash of a letter to the admin, for being hotmail-esque and discriminatory to certain members
(6) Lodge a police complaint against me for having tried to pull your leg in good humour.

Edward, pls pls pls don't take me seriously. I believe you'll find your answer in the first para itself. In which case don't read the other six reasons

Hey Mandrake,

No offense taken. It's true that I have about 130 posts. But these were more like replies or topics started.

So far, I have only looked at the Kishore forum. It's only now that I am looking at the Mahendra Kapoor forum too. Seriously, I didn't know that attachments were cleaned out after a month (hey, maybe you are right, the admin is being discriminatory to me)

Hey Mandrake,

No offense taken. It's true that I have about 130 posts. But these were more like  replies or topics started.

The admin IS pretty discriminatory here. They measure all the non-admin guys by the same yardstick
And sometimes they forget that they are the admin group and behave pretty much like us nice, cordial, understanding and extremely helpful
