AFAIK Dharti Kahe Pukar Ke is Manna Dey (not Talat) & Lata.

Here's the sad version of "Itna Na Mujhse Tu Pyar Badha" (Talat Mahmood - CHHAYA - Salil Chowdhury) which was provided by one of our members:

You all are such wonderful people. It is after a long time that i am finally finding people who understands a patron of yester years film&music. I was born about 20 years too late!! or rather 40-50 years too late to be a contemporary of these superstars as they were being formed!!!! When i finally met hemanta Mukherjee he was already a very sick man, Pratima Banerje (a bengali singer) was coming out of a nervous breakdown and shock!! O God!! R.C. Boral's son's were already old and sick and alcoholic!!!

Thanks again-
Bappa

Lagi Nahi Chhoote Ram (Talat Mahmood-Lata Mangeshkar), Lagi Nahi Chhoote Ram (1963)

Doesnt this song sound like that little song piece from Qayamat se qayamat tak where Juhi Chawla sings on screen "kaahe sataaye kaahe ko rulaaye raam kare tujhko neend na aaye"?

Chitragupt provided the music for the Bhojpuri movie "Laagi Naahi Chhoote Raam". Anand-Milind who gave the music for "Qayaamat Se Qayaamat Tak" are his sons. So there's your connection, C. I'm sure the similarity is not a mere coincidence.

Bappa

Your DVD was stolen.

You stole that wonderful song of Geeta Dutt from your mother's friend when you were 18.

Bas Samjho Hisaab Kitaab Barabar!

Had once requested for 'Kisko Khabar Thhi, Kisko Yakeen Thha' from Devdas by Talatsaab, and extenok had very kindly obliged. I found it in better quality in my own music, so am uploading it here.

Oh, thank you for a better quality version. That's a wonderful song by Talat uncle.
