Starting this thread on Hansraj hans.......

presently He is most vestile singer in punjab . ( yes legends like Mann etc are there)

He is my fav pjabi voice. In this thread will try to upload his songs on request as well from my side.
Will try to upload lesser known but good songs. and mostly from his earlier period.....ie ard 1993 when he was star only in punjab !

Just last month I managed to watch the first live show of Hansraj bhaji. occasion was "Anoogunj " festival of Guru gobind singh IP university. Once I came to knew that he is perfroming in univestity I asked my frds to make arrangements for my entry.. was desperate to watch him live.

Yes like a Fanatic tried to be friendly with orchestra people, tried to exract some informatin from them but koi fayda nehi :-( hoya. mood nehi si ohna da. menu ohna ne bhaav nehi detta .lol.


when Show started Hansraj started the show with Few lines of a Shabad on Guru gobind singh ji on whose name this Univesity is named.

I had earlier also been to this fest but this time the sound system and speaker etc were briiliant. the effect was briilliant.

Most of the crowd was colege students and they expected Hansraj to sing some pop nos. Hansraj started off with " nit khair manga" , for crowd even tht song was like pop and all started dancing on the grd.

Hansraj sang few more Sad songs and people liked all of them and danced to all of them. appan doven , pyar bhare khat tere etc. lol

And when he started singing his pop songs the whole janta went crazy . specillly for those hindi film songs. I dont know why HRH didnt sang his best pop songs like tote tote , dil chori etc. last song was "nachi jo saade naal". FEw of my frds who are from bhjpuri belt .didnt knew lyrics but enjoyed the whole program. and danced till the last song.


The whole grd was full of dust as people were dancing in grps in every cornor. . My frd has recorded it on video and cam will try to post laterz. The whole program lasted ard 1 -1.5 hr


Earlier few years bak I had also attended " Sukhbir"'s program. he is another great entertanier. and one of my fav artists.

Actuallly I was trying to reintroduce this artist who is my fav "voice", it was his album lal gharara " tht made me relook at "desi" punjab music and my interest in Pjabi music grew .

Right now thoda HDisk aur net problem de raya hai and bit busy also.......but..... will continue posting his songs !
