3. Mere Babul Da Mukhda Pyara (Sassi Punnu – 1938)
4. Pinjre De Vich Qaid Jawani (Gul Bakawli – 1939)
5. Ek Sohney Jaey Jungle Vich (Gul Bakawli – 1939)
6. Ku Ku Main Koel Wangoon (Yamla Jat – 1940)

I think it was Preeto nika jiya.
There was also a line in this song:
main dudh pee jaan vaTTee, preeto nikaa jiyaa

Heard a lot of times in the good old days from Amritsar
Jallundhar stations. I may be wrong but the singer was
Parkash Kaur.
In those days a radio recording by Ritu Daman was also
frequently played:
meraa Dig pyaa kidhre jhumkaa Jalundhar sail krendii daa
.. and also a RR by some male singer:
tere husan dii katcheri laggii, te dooron dooron aun chagDe

Only one song from Balo got in my life in two parts

A very very very rare song
1.Bedi Da Mallah Koi Na PartI
2.Koi Jadoo Kar gaya Ae PartII

No other song ever found or heard. No body in Punjab has other than this as far as
my information is concerned.
I promise to upload soon. Will take sometime to find

singer but different songs.
Yes, I have heard a couple of time: tuun kahda patwari.

Virji, mera dig payaa kidhre was a radio recording lasting about 6/7
minutes, not a 78rpm recording. There was another radio recording
often aired:
uche chobaare main khaDee, ve Dhola khaDee sukaanii aan main kais
rus rus jaandaa meraa jobnaa, kahnuun malii beThon pardes
Dholia ve, meraa maaf kariin kuchh bolyaa
I am not sure but I think the singer was Mohinder Kaur.
I am sure AIR Jalundhar must be having these in their library.

I have found from my stocks two or three casettes of such old desi songs
and I am trying to clean as much I can and if my punjabi friends are intrested in such rare old punjabi folk songs or lok geets I will upload
