Was there another Gulnar or is this the same Noor Jehan Gulnar, or is it a mistake on the CD? The CD seems to have many mistakes In any case, I like the song. Film: Gulnar (?) Though I have never heard the original song. This song was re sung by A Nayyar & Mehnaz (not sure about the singer's name) in a TV show. I have this re sung version on a tape. I am dyeing to get the original version…. Lekin kya karoon ratio ka problem hai Anyway, you have uploaded such marvelous songs. We have the same taste in music. I have all of them on audio tape and want to get the CDQ. BTW can you provide the CD company details?

I have seen this shop in Lahore and in Islamabad, they may have one in Karachi. The titles are: Great Movies of Yesterday - Baaji / Azra Old Pakistani Super Hits Old Pakistani Super Hits Volume 2 Pakistani Old Film Duets (My grandad had this on tape with the same cover - Zeba and Waheed Murad)

BTW I have checked, Singers of re-sung version are Mehnaz & Asad Amanat Ali Khan. I have another song from this movie. Great music by Master Ji

I read somewhere that the print is available... and this particular song was picturized on Raagini and S. Gul.

Hi Zaira! I have all the songs from 'Unrao Jaan Ada', will upload soon. As for 'Phir saawan rut ki pawan..' is concerned, The singer is Nayyara Noor (as Ummer already told) and the poet is Naasir Kaazmi.
