This is "Yeh Hawa Yeh Fiza Yeh Bahar", an absolutely marvellous rendering by Geeta Ji. I do have it in my collection, will search it and post shortly.

I have been away to India for family reasons and have not been able to visit the forum except on a sporadic basis, over the last 5 weeks or so. Hope to be more regular here onwards.

Here is the promised "Yeh Hawa Yeh Fiza Yeh Bahar". As I mentioned earlier, an absolutely phenomenal rendering by Geeta. She seems to inspire even the muted voices which provide a marvellous contrast to her own honey filled voice..

Enjoy this master piece from the bygone 78 RPM era.

Thank you Shuklaji and SB for the appreciation.

The above song was probably recorded during the same period as "Haule Haule Hawa Doley" and "Jamuna Ke Teer Kanha Aao", possibly early 50s. Again I am not sure but the MD could be Nikhil Ghosh, who composed tha above two songs. Alternately it may be G.Joshi, who also composed a number of private songs of Geeta Dutt.

Pradeep ji, just now downloaded this divine song and enjoyed listening to it several times. What a lovely song !

This has a very similar effect (I mean on the listener) as that of her famous Bengali song "Nishi Raat Baanka Chand"...
