sir, if u dont feel offended i wud like 2 correct these songs r not himachali but dogari songs
(dogari spoken in jammu region)

Can you provide the difference between Pahadi and dogari.
Please provide proof that this song is of dogari language.
I am going to organize my music my way. You may choose to change
the tag as you wish.
Furthermore, the filename are unchanged as provided by
original uploaded here in HF like Dharmvir ji.

In this particular region i.e.....Northern Punjab, Himachal and Jammu,
the dialect changes every 30 miles or even less. In shivalik areas you can find
that on one side of the mountain the language is different from the other side.
Pahari is a general term given to the language spoken in mountains.
Eastern Pahari is spoken in Nepal, while Central in Utrakhand and Western
in Himachal, part of Punjab, Jammu and some eastern parts of Pakistan.
Purest form of Dogri is spoken in the Jammu region. The Dogri spoken
in Himachal is called as Himachali Dogri and it is somewhat different.
The language of the songs sung by Lata Mangeshkar is in Dogri, as
spoken in Jammu area.
Dogri is second language of Jammu and Kashmir state of India and
a national language listed under Schedule 8 of the Constitution of India.
Himachal Government's proposal to include pahari in 8th schedule is
still pending with the parliament.
I hope this will clarify the situation.

Well, HP was part of punjab till 71. One of lowest ranking state
in any statistic. Only this decade their ranking has risen to number 2
in India Abroad ranking.
These songs are marketed as pahari everywhere.
Having read the above link, The question
of what is language and what is dialect is quite surreal.
Tourism wise they count western HP as part of their prevue.
but in terms of famous duggers, they all are born in Jammu area.
Incidentally they count K. L. Saigal as a Dugger. Strange
that he never recorded a dogri song. Oh well.

Maheshji is quite right, I have lived in J&K for a while and I surely know this is a Dogri folk song. Was always played on radio.
