Alamgir was amongst the initial few pop singers of Pakistan Television and from there he was picked for a Movie Jageer in 1975. Music by the Veteran Nisar Bazmi. bit rate 128kb/s Enjoy "Hum chale to hamaray sang sang nazaray chalay.

Nahid Akhter was a perfect choice for all sort of music. she took off exactly fromwhere Runa Laila left. Heres a song from Movie Waqt 1976. Cast includes Babra Sharif, Waheed Murad, Shamim Ara, Habib & Saloni .. Music M.Ashraf .. bit rate 128kb/sec. ..

Lyrics Habib Jalib and Music A.Hameed Many years later A.Hameed asked Habib Jalib for similar song in Movie Samaaj. This time singer was Mehdi Hassan and Song was "Ye Ejaz hay Husn-e-Awargi ka .. Jahan bhi gayay DastaaN chhoR aayay" Munir Hussain also sang his last hit song in Samaaj "Pyar khud jeenay kay andaz sikha deta hay" Samaaj mein Mehdi Hassan ka aik rare song hay jiska EMI nay record nahi banaya na hi Samaaj kay Long Play mein wo Song shamil kiya. Ghulam Abbas is generally thought to be a disciple of Mehdi Hassan but this perception is wrong. While he was singing a ghazal of Faiz Ahmed Faiz on Lahore Radio, Mehdi Hassan took him along and then he was trained by Mehdi Hassan's Uncle Ustad Ismail Khan who also used to train Mehdi Hassan. Ghulam Abbas has a sweet Voice and he has sung some hi-pitch songs too (unlike Mehdi Hassan) especialy in concerts.. Heres a film song from Ghulam Abbas
