Geetaji Yearwise Filmography Options

One question about the song "Naiyya mori majdhaar" from the film Darogaji (1949). This song was deleted from the film (AFAIK), but was this ever released on records?

hi parag,
hfgk mentions the song,but doesn't mention the singer.no record was issued for this song.although i would like to believe that it was by geeta roy,but there are no definite evidences to prove it.i have not mentioned the song in the filmography as singer is not mentioned in hfgk,the song is not there in the dvd/vcd released and no record was issued for the song.

I remember a few weeks back Waheed bhai played a song of Geeta ji from the film Sarai Ke Bahar (1947). The MD is D C Dutt (?) and the film stars Sabita Devi, Hemavati, Hasan, Talesh, Kadir, Mahendranath, Shivraj, Raj Mehra, Cuckoo. The film is directed by Krishan Chandar.

I remember noting down this wording of the song:

Sun pardesi baalma..sunkar jaao

Can any one confirm if this song is indeed sung by Geeta ji or not? Thanks

i have not heard the song,so its difficult to comment;but d c dutt composed music for geetaji in few films.
but geetaji's exceptional success during 47-48 period was unprecedented and unique.no singer has rendered so many songs in his/her first two years.

the geeta dutt song from kaun pardesi-Gulshan mein chhaayee bahar o rasi loot sake to loot-is mentioned in geetkosh.somehow it got missed.thanks for reminding about it.

''dil se tumhari yaad'' is from chand sitare as parag mentioned.

Hi Parag bhai,
in this clip the words "haaye preet ka daaman choot gaya"
are rendered by very young voice of Geeta Roy..and others are
by another female singer..
