I wish I was in India right now - celebrating Diwali - one of my favorite things to do evvvvvvvvvvvvvver. I miss those days!

@ 5 in the morning itself they have started with bombs.... In the evening its tuff to get out or come into the building.... Juz imagine... 100 apartments celebrating diwali.... baap re..

Diwali Mubarak to all fellow members.

Sharad, you reminded me of Ramadan & all the Eid festivities back in Pakistan.
Hopefully, in a day or two, we'll also have the start of the blessed month of Ramadan here in Saudi Arabia.

Wonderful treat this fasting. Not to mention the whole preparation that goes on throughout the month in preparing the food for breaking the fast at dusk.
Gluttony for a whole month ... ouch, there goes my fitness program out the window. rolleyes.gif
