Hi Narendra,

I think it is too early to predict the season. You know that Yankees are late bloomers. Of course for the money that has been paid to Yankee players, the play off and the world series resuls are disappointing. Mets have a good pitcher, Santana ,who came from Minnesota Twins. I don't know how good is the new Yankee manager Girardi. I was so used to Joe Torre.

My second choice is Mets. I have been following them since 1973. I have been to several Yankee and Mets games in New York City.

The season has just started. 162 games and we still have close to 160 games.

HI Narendra,

Sorry to see Mets in the last place. Ever since Mariono Rivera screwed the last game of the world series against Arizona diamondbacks, Yankees have not been able to capture one title. I like Jeter. He is solid. Mets pitching is good but offense is weak. Boston looks strong. I used to watch each and every game of Yankees in 1976,77 and 78 when I used to live in New York. Once they started losing, I lost interest in baseball until 1996, when Yankees won the world series after a long hiatus. Do you like football and basket ball too? who is your team in football?

Hey, its great to know there's some baseball fans on this forum smile.gif.

I'm a Blue Jays supporter all the way !!!

This year, we can compete with the Yankees and Red Sox for the AL East. With the addition of Rolen, our offence is great and dangerous. It was last year too, but injuries ruined our whole campaign. Our pitching is the only concern, if we stay healthy in that department, we can play for the division title. We should have done better last year, everyone was saying the Jays could compete for the AL East or the Wildcard, and our team was solid then too, but things fell apart. This year, as a team, we've improved more. Hopefully this time we'll have a great season.

Yea Its Fine And Still Early In The Season We'll See What Happens When We Get Pedro And Orlando Back Along With The Offense Until Then They Deserve To Be In No Place At All. As For FootBall, My Team In The 90s Was The 49ners And The Two NewYork Teams . Post 2000 Era Jerry And Steve Was Gone And They Started Losing And I Also Lost Interest In That Team. I'm Currently For Both Ny Teams. As For Basketball Same Story I Don't Really Watch It Due To Ah Horrible Knicks Team. After Van Gundy Left, The Franchise Went Straight To The Ground. But I Hate To Say I Still Am Ah Knick Fan.

Hey Princeali,

Nice To See You On Board With The Baseball Thread. I To Think The Blue Jays Competed For Ah While And Had Ah Good Shot Until They Went In That Miserable Losing Streak Last Year. Thank Goodness The Got Rolen Aka The "Met Killer". They Should Have Got Him Last Year Maybe My Team Would Have Been In The Playoffs Lol. Anyhow Good To The Jays In The East : )

Well, Where Now At The All Star Break, I'm Suprised That My Team Is Currently The Hottest Team Out There Right Now With 9 Straight Wins And Only 1/2 Half Behind 1st Place, (Mets)..What About You Guys?

Not so good with my team. Trailing 6 games behind Boston. Hope, Yankees will win the world series this time. Can't stand the arrogant team win again.
