I think we are coming closer to what exactly this word is. !


First word seems to be Kurbat. ( as pointed out by Urzung and kamala ji)

and IMO second doubtful word is " faki hum teri ". " Faki " ke matlab ke hisaab se ekdam fit beth raha hai.

"Fakeer hum teri chahat ke " thoda grammtically galat lagta hai.


Urzung ji dubaara suniye aap..... Mere hisaab se "Dheeraj/dheeran" nehi hai. Actually sound effects aur beats ke vajah se word alag lag raha hai.

Right now choice is between " faki hum or fakeer hum ".

Iam pjabi so in pujabi people do call like this. thts why I hve used oye with my name. koi tension nehi aap jo marji use karo. Buss Ladai karte time Sonu ji use karna uss time oye mat use karna

This song is writtten by Sayed quadri and composed by Preetam and singer is zubeen Garg. an Asaam based singer.

This is the problem of today’s music directors and singers as well. They still need to learn how they can provide vocal clearity while recording. They use more and more musical strings to show that they are specific. Moreover, the singers are not well aware of Urdu pronounce which is essence of song. I listen the sent clip by Sonu but still trying to get in clear...

It is Qurbat.....

And next word must be and it is Fakeer..

R is pronounced silently....almost equal to none.....due to setting in the rhythm bits.

This happens when music director can not avoid lentgh of words in songs. We have lot of examples like this. I remember one of first line of Anwar’s song.

“Aye Shokh Naaznee....Tere Hijaab Ne Mujhe”. In fact the word is Naazneen but pronounced as Naaznee...this is due the musical node settings and timings as well.

I don’t remember much songs now but surely there are a lot. And I will submit here probably tomorrow.

Meaning of Kurbat:

In Hindi: Nazdiki, Samipya
In English: Nearness, vicinity

I think Nazdiki or Nearness will fit in properly.
