Hi members
Can anyone inform me about the availability of Noor Jehan and Dilip Kumar starrer Jugnu's (1948) complete movie video,be it in DVD,VCD,or VHS form. Also if Punjabi( Indian) movie Madarari's (Released around 1950) movie video is available. I would prefer U.S. or Canada but would like to know whereever either one of these is available.Harjinder

Thanks for such a quick response. I do have an audio cassette of Jugnu songs. Meri koshish hai ki kissi jagah toan achhee DVD quality dee movie version mill jaaye. Naheen tey eh puraanee VHS video naal hi guzar ho jaayegi. This film was one of the notable films of pre-partition India.We should try to preserve memories of those times if for nothing else may be just for nostalagia.I was a little child in 1947 but I have some really wistful memories of those times and of the aura of primitive village life, of Moslem and even English people in Indian Punjab. (My antagonism towards the British is becoming a lot less pronounced with the passage of time.) Well anyway I will keep on hoping to find decent prints of these two movie videos. Harjinder

I am out of town for two days I hv dvd call 2in 1 two movie jugnu one dvd- one andaaz .from new york . after come home sacan cover u/l site.
