I presume you should have been in a 'fragile' state not in a frazile state. Frazil is a collection of loose, randomly oriented ice crystals formed in sea water below 1.8 °C. Frazil ice gives the water a slightly oily ...

Now let's continue from 'FRAZIL'

A little interesting side story, from today's news:

Heard of Sexpeer? Check with Patna university proctor
V.K. Tripathi
Patna, May 15, 2005

Patna University will be conducting workshops in letter writing. No, it isn't introducing a secretarial course. The reason's much simpler: it is tired of the abysmal grammar and spellings on its student applications — some of them even from post-graduate and medical students.

Brief workshops will be organised under the guidance of linguistics teachers to teach students the basics of letter writing.

The university's principals and officials say that as many as 80 per cent of the applications in English and even in Hindi have unpardonable grammatical errors. 'Principal' becomes principle, 'registrar' is 'register' and the poor 'proctor' often ends up as a 'productor', whatever that may be.

Early this week, Patna University pro-vice-chancellor Dr S. Ehteshamuddin refused the application of a student with a masters in surgery who couldn't spell 'controller of examinations'. It is routine for Patna University proctor Dr Kritesh Prasad to correct applications too. Once, annoyed by a flawed application, he asked an English honours student to spell 'Shakespeare', 'principal' and 'sincerely'. What he got was 'Sexpeer', 'principle' and 'seriously'!

"An absolutely correct application is a rarity today," admits B.N. College principal Dr M.P. Sinha. According to him, most applicants mis-spell even simple words like 'university', 'obediently' and 'superintendent'.

With its reputation to consider — Patna University is the seventh oldest university in the country — it's little wonder that it's back to basics.

"The moment we want to believe something, we suddenly see all the arguments for it, and become blind to the arguments against it."
"Reading made Don Quixote a gentleman, but believing what he read made him mad. "
"You'll never have a quiet world till you knock the patriotism out of the human race. "
