Simpleji...I couldn't recognize the song...Will u pls declare??

Subir

Subir Ji,

I must congratulate you for giving that interlude of that great song, "Zulfon Ki Ghata Lekar". In fact, Its instrumusic is superb, what with a peculiar percussion that keeps the song going throughout!

But, don't you think that was a tough Q? biggrin.gif

Tough one, SF. But you need to clarify which one is which, prelude or interlude?

Venkat..both are interludes..before first and second stanzas. Prelude to the song is....too much obvious as there is a chorus. Will upload it too..if you want it.. smile.gif

Some nomenclature issues need sorting out. Prelude is just opening music before the song starts. Interlude is all the musical bits that come after the song starts, including the ones between Mukhda and Antara!

Venkat

PS. If you call the music between Mukhda and Antara as Prelude, then everything is Prelude only!

Both are interludes...there will be only one prelude for a song..right ?

Ok, so, both are interludes. But, that does not take me any nearer the answer. I give up for others like Anupama Ji to come in! biggrin.gif

One more thing. It is necessary to give a distinct ID No. for each Question. By that , you can handle multiple Q's simultaneously, before one or more are answered!

Venkat..yes, that makes sense, to give numbers for the files. If Choo lene do..is Song 1, Julfon ki ghata lekar.. is song 2...what i posted will be song 3. the clues may be numbered Song 3..clue 1...so forth.. That should do it..?
BTW, i got this familiar software in spanish version..and that stores sound files as... Nuevo archivo de sonido by default, which i presume to be New Sound file.. laugh.gif now, music is indeed universal.

I know the song venkat, it is from Paigham right? tongue1.gif

"The best and the most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen,
nor touched...but are felt in the heart."

Far, very far, into the world of the farthest beyond
My hope carries me and places me
On the sweetest lap of the unknown.
There i behold my self-form
In the Dance-Delight of the Absolute

Every Night and every Morn
Some to Misery are born
Every morn and every Night
Some are born to sweet Delight
Some are born to Endless night

SF, just d/led this and got it in the first hearing.

The Answer:

"Chand Aahen Bharega, Phool Gul--- Lenge, Husn Ki Baat Chali To Sab Tera Naam Lenge"

A great Mukesh song (MD:KA) from Film:Phool Bane Angaare(1963).

Well, I do not have this song in my collection, but I am sure of the answer! smile.gif

Venkat

PS. Actually, even if you had given the prelude as the first clue to that Paigham song earlier, it would still have been adequately diffcult.

One more thing. The musical bits which are different and somewhat off-track, like the one given by Subir Ji from Reshmi Rumaal and your this Chand Aahen Bharega one, are the appropriate ones for this quiz. Just an opinion. Need not be right!

Venkat

Venkat...That is marvelous. the way you recognized the song...smile.gif
I could have come out with the answer for the Paigham song..but not this one. May be because they are our favourites..?
It is difficult to comprehend what you mean by off-track..as i am literally novice when it comes to taala..and raaga...or even some instruments which are played in the song.. smile.gif
Anyway..will try to pick something which all will enjoy.. Most of the preludes will be easily recognized..but not the interludes....that is why the inclination is towards them...May be we can keep the prelude as the final clue?? smile.gif

Here is the beautiful song for your collection...

Chand aahe bharega..
Phool bane angare..
Kalyan ji anand ji
Anand bakshi

Nice to continue this theoretical discussion.

True, actually that Paigham song is not one of my great favorites. All the other three, Kajal, Phool Bane Angare, and Reshmi Rumaal, are my favorite songs, but with a difference again. The Kajal song is all too popular. Hence no fun! The Phool Bane and Reshmi Rumaal songs are realtively rarer and at the same time very nice songs. Hence, all the more thrilling to catch them! smile.gif

Again, my own weird musings!

Venkat

PS. Yet again, we cannot generalize on preludes and interludes. Some interludes are easier than preludes too!
