Any1 heard of Ruth Sheldon? She was in my year at Parrs Wood. I held her to a draw once. That doesnt sound impressive on its own but when I say that she held the world champion to a draw it becomes a different matter... joke True tho, I swear I anit lyin. |

5-- Pawn (Pijade in persian)
no idea what Iran calls.................but Afghani persian call them " piyada" or " askar" , askar is supposed to be a name given by folks........it shouldn't be a well known name.....but sure " piyada" should be the book name.............i dun think that Iran would call " Pijade" as it has no meaning in Persian language ..........rest has meaning 1-- Rook (Rukh in persian).........................rukh...........can be face to face...........or front....or face 2-- Bishop (Fil in persian)....................feel.........elephent........... 3-- Queen (Vizier in persian)...........vazier..........what u call it , priminister?..........lower than king 4-- King (Shah in persian)..............shah or padshah.... 5-- Pawn (Pijade in persian)...........(doubtful yet) 6-- Knight (Asb in persian)............Asb.....................horse free persian couse eeeeh .......................................................................
