Hi,

I have recently joined this forum. I am deeply grateful to all of you who upload requests and share treasures of Noor Jehan and others. May I please request the following songs of Noor Jehan if anyone has them? Thank you so much.

Thank you very much for your warm welcome! I have enjoyed reading and listening to NJ on your website and other sources such as youtube - I salute you for your wonderful collection and your generosity in sharing these with admirers of Noor Jehan. I happened to look into youtube by chance for Noor Jehan about two months back and I have been spell bound ever since! Her Tarannum series songs are truly out of this world and I am honestly at a loss to say clearly whether I love her voice more or her inimitable expressions for each and every word. Both are truly exceptional! I thank you in advance for uploading my requests! Please do them at your leisure. Bahut bahut shukriya..

Thank you so much for the lovely song you uploaded "dadha bhera ishq". I wrote a reply immediately but somehow it did not appear. I enjoyed listening to it all day yesterday and I am very grateful to you. If possible, could you please tell me what the lyrics mean? It sounds heavenly to me.

I haven't find 'Kithon labhiye eho jeha darzi...' in my Hard drive, let me search the CD, (I afraid it will take time as it is always hard to find 'something' in my cupboard )

THANK YOU, THANK YOU and a very BIG THANK YOU for uploading all the gems. Please don't worry if you cannot find the last one 'kithon labhiye..'. It will take me a long time to get satisfied by listening to all the gems you and Jamaaf ji have uploaded. Right now, I am trying to learn to sing these songs for my own pleasure. Unfortunately, I know only Hindi and neither Urdu nor Punjabi except for a few phrases. I am looking for lyrics for these songs. Would you please tell me if these are available? If I can find the meaning of these songs, that would be immensely satisfying.

No problem at all - the Music Director is Akhtar Hussain, I am not sure who the lyricist is.

My punjabi is not great so I only understand parts of the song. Dadha behra ishq da rog roughly means 'this inflication (illness) of love is very harsh/tough'

Inaam bhai - how is your punjabi? I am not good at translating, and even when I do translate it is very literal and not poetic like you can do.
