Hello Friends,

I am a big fan of King Kishore and just absolutely luv his voice.
I would luv to share my collection with you guys, so here it is.
Since the week I have joined its been amazing.
I am very active on the torrent scene but this is something else.
Probably what I was looking for but didnt look hard enough.

I am starting with songs which I call SSS. Slow, Soft and Smooth.
Songs where the tempo is slow (obv) and the pitch doesnt rise decibels.
Basically as the name suggests, songs which are so.
The Quality will be good to very good unless I mention otherwise.

There is no difference between rules for new and old members, as far as I know.

I think this is something called moderation (thats y those people are called Moderators )

Every new member is subject to this and after some (how many ?) posts, he/she is allowed normal access.
This I think is the case, Guys correct me if I am wrong.

So just wait a while, interact thru posts and replies and it should become allright.

I have a huge collection of kishore kumar songs largely inherited from my dad who was a great fan of KK.I am sure most of them are also very old and rare.

But i want to settle down first and understand about uploads/downloads etc. As I told you my first upload has vanished in the air.

How many more posts i must make before i can participate without moderation?

I think my good friend Gooseberry left the forum out of frustration.

Have patience! I'm afraid I saw an error msg to your attachment a couple of days ago. I'm not sure on which thread I saw it, could be in this thread only. Plz. try to u/l one more time taking care of zipping/compressing the .mp3 file before the upload. Aur haan, aap ko kuch points pehale earn karne honge...by uploading a few songs (we call it 'petrol bharna') and then go for the downloading of your choice songs or make requests for songs. I still remember how 'fool' I became when casually I downloaded my 1st song, without thinking of any points. I came to this forum, by searching for the song from "OONCHI UDAAN". But after d/l my 1st song, I was unable to d/l that desired song at that time. At the start you will face some problem but keep the patience and soon you find - duniya kitni haseen hai.. yahan par... Someone somewhere is there to fullfill your request.

I think I mentioned to you. But you indeed used certain smileys earlier used by "N-sis". She used to be very fond of them and you used it accidentally.So quite a lot of guys here thought that you are N-sis in a different name.

Even I thought so for a moment but later realised you are a different person altogether.

Omkar, the original video is in 1120 bits but the rule is max 720 bits.
After conversion to 720 it is not excellent, just okay.
Any idea to retain the original quality ?

1. If I have a VCD of any movie. And I extract a song from that VCD and convert it into Audio Mp3.
The quality of that song is equivalent to a good mp3 song.

2. What's the difference in Vinyl converted mp3 song and VCD extracted song converted into mp3 format. Which one will be better.
