My winamp just buffers and buffers and buffers but it never connects !

Can anyone help me as there are a few shows which I really do not want to miss!

Akhtar U have a high connection speed na? Winamp latest hai kya?
The problem I faced was it would move as tho playing but no sound would ensue. Then realised one has to open and add url. But if it is buffering it cannot be the problem. With me initially it takes a while rebuffering then steadies.

Yeah I've got broadband - latest version of Winamp also! Mine just keeps buffering

Do U have a firewall? I believe U must use 80 instead of 8000 in that case.

The most severe cases of "unable hear Hamara Radio" were Priya and Nimii.

Priya is now able to hear using Winamp, provided the streaming is at 24 kbps.

Nimii is able to hear using JetAudio.

You were able to hear the program yesterday streamed at 24. Maybe you're not able to connect to streaming at higher kbps. Suggest you try JetAudio and check if that solves the problem.

But Ooonz, Nimii can hear using Jet Audio only if it is mp3. Not AAC+.
Also Akhtar had broadband so odd that he cannot connect. Divz has a bad connection so samajhti hoon.
We must ask Inaam how he managed bec he has an awful connection and could not hear initially yesterday.

Sri is streaming music at 24. So that works for you, apparently.

When the radio is free, check again if you are able to stream music.

Pradeep has presently placed the setting for a max of 32 listeners, but he has the option to increase to as many as 100. Which he'll have to invoke when 'Kachha Dhaaga Presents' has a "Bandar Special"!

Not resolving matlab, winamp is unable to get the IP, which could be related the DNS issues you were having earlier. Open winamp and directly type in http://66.98.199.117:80

I am unable to hear HF Radio, when it is live. The audio seems to be streaming; but I don't hear any sound.
Any one using Linux, please help me. I am using Linux (Ubuntu) with FireFox browser. It has most audio drivers. I have DSL connection. Thanks for any help.

Use winamp recent version
Set winamp to play .pls file type

Then-
Go to the site
http://www.hamaraforums.com:8000/
click on 'listen' on the top menu bar

OR simply click on the song link on HF site (below the 'quote of the day')
