I am posting my wish-list of Rafi Sahab's songs. I know the list is long and some of the songs are rare to find but I'm sure someone's bound to have em somewhere. If anyone has songs from the following list, please be kind enuf to upload em. Any help wud be greatly appreciated.

Hi Anupama ji

What a great way to begin a Sunday!

I pride myself at my reasonable collection of around 3900 filmi songs of Rafi Sahab. You have given on a platter the bulk of the remaining (as per wikepedia there are around 4500 filmi and 500 ghair filmi/other languages songs of Rafi Sahab)

With the uploads pouring in am sure me and other fans of Rafi Sahab are in for a treat. Thanks to all fellow members for the large heartedness shown all along.

Given the obsession (bordering on to a fetish!) of HF members of rare songs, am sure the list would be met, by and large.

Rajnishji, I still remember my first request post on HF. I was looking for a cleaner copy of Mayoos Toh Hoon Waade Se Tere n you were the first kind soul who helped me n gave ne the DVDversion of the song. I can't forget that gesture.

Dear Exon

It is a common problem with relatively obscure songs that they are sometimes named from the begining and sometimes from the middle.

One can see that you have taken special pains by listening to the song, and then finding out the wordings.

Much appreciated.

If possible can you reupload the Rafi Sahab numbers of Sant Janabai (I have only four and there seem to be seven plus).

Exon, I have the VCD of Paisa Hi Paisa and the two parts of Dil Ne Maanga Pyaar. I'm not sure if the song I requested is another part of this song or is it a different song altogether?
I couldn't find Uff Na Karna Ke Mohabbat in the VCD. I will double check.

I only got the songs which marked Mohd.Rafi as the singer from the album CMji uploaded that time. I might have missed a few that didnt list him as the singer.
Kindly upload the other songs that I missed. I will go thru em 2 see if Rafi sahab is singing.

Thanks Got Kisi Ki Yaad song from Dr Surjit's website (It is quaint and funny to locate the songs written in Punjabi by oldtimers, thank god it is not in Gurmukhi!)

A bigger thanks for the filmography of Rafi Sahab, which is a boon for updating and has reduced my indexing workload to a trickle.

Another advantage of that list is that I will be able to track a few songs which I have from YT/net, where the uploader did not mention the name of the film. I have quite a few of them, but have not kept them properly, so will have to hunt for them (Or kept them too properly and thus it is now difficult to remember the folder name!!)

However there are a few of the recent ones, which I could not find in your master index excel file in a find command. (It is very much possible or probable that they might be non filmi songs)

The songs are- :

-Hamra Mukhda Chand Ka Tukda (The uploader mentioned that it is with Suresh Wadkar, and I could not find it in your list)
-Karo zindagi ko watan ke havale (might be non filmi patriotic song)
-Bharat Ka Lal dil ka ??? (Does not sound non filmi)
-Hamen itna bata de bhagwan yahan marta hai kyun insan

If you want I can upload them for even if they are ghair filmi, they are a bit rare. And in case they are filmi, it might be an addition to your list.

In case it is already in the list (or ghair filmi) then please get back.

I will keep ferreting for such numbers, after finding out where I hid my nuts like the proverbial squirrel.
