While giving a message to the participants on Sony TV's "K For Kishore", as a Judge, Ashaji gave a very interesting kissa in their struggling days ( It was just superb to know about the song...I never knew the song mukhda ) :
Khemchand Prakash ji ka gaana tha, aur Mahalakshmi Famous mein main aur Kishoreda gaa rahe the gaana....Aur jab hum gaa rahe the to Robin Chatterjee recordist aaye aur unhone aake music director se ya producer se kaha ke ye awaazein bahot kharaab hai, ye gaana nahin gaa sakte hain. Aur mujhe aur Kishoreda ko reject kar diya aur Guruji ne aake kaha ke "beta phir karenge, aaj cancel karo" karke nilaal diya...aur main aur Kishoreda sadak par ahista ahista chalte chalte Grant Road station tak chalte chalte gaye...bade dukhi hoke gaye "ke kya.." . Lekin us waqt humne ye socha ke "nahin kuch karenge..." Uske bahot dinon baad jab Kishoreda as an actor hero Top pe..aur gaana gaane ke liye hum doosre recording theatre mein wohi recordist the Robin Chatterjee..aur Kishoreda ne unko dekha aur mujhe kaha "dekh villian baitha hai"...aur gaana bataati hoon "Armaan Bhare Dil Ki Lagan Tere Liye Hai " ye gaana tha...baad mein Geeda di ne aur Talat Mehmood ji ne gaaya tha. Lekin hum is baat se peechhe nahin hate ya bhaag nahin gaye , humne balke zor lagaya aur bata diya. Phir unhi ko hamaare gaane record karke wah wah karna padta tha. Iska matlab hai ki aap mehnat keejiye. Regards

I simply LOVE the way she is handling the show!! I am now hoping singers would at least sing in correct Sur and Taal till Ashaji is there. Lagta Hain, Agle episode mein Bappi ka CHAMPI honewala hai

Jhumroobhai, sometimes I feel so bad that Amit Kumar is related to such type of show where he has to praise such performances!
