heard it. Can I be greedy and ask you to upload the other 2 songs in the
film as well (if you have the cassette)? There is a Lata solo "Hari tum haro
jan ki peeD" whose lyrics are the same as the Meera bhajan by legendary
singer M S Subbalakshmi. There is also another Asha solo "O rasiya more
piya chheen le gayo re jiya".
Thanx again for this song. Sounds lovely in any language although I have
a preference for the Marathi original.

There are 2 more solos in the film na? I think I have poocha maine dil se apne too--gotta check.

Really great to find this Char-Chand (1953) Asha-ji's track- Hai ye wohi asman..., indeed an excellent song, tandem version sung by Talat Mahmood Saheb and we find Talat Saheb's version in his Cassettes/CD Collections released by RPG/HMV from time to time. However, I could never find this tandem version sung by Asha-ji in any of her Cassette/CDcollections.
Really a sad state of affairs and annoying to note that HMV/RPG missed such great rare Asha-ji's gems, in their collections released from time to time.

Why aren't any of these cleaned and released? Even the recent Pure Gold and such albums released by HMV, have the same old songs. Anyone who tried to undrstand HFM lookign at these collections would imagine our legends have sung some 1000 songs all put together!!!

On a related note, I noticed that the version of "Poocho na hameN hum
unke liye" that you recently uploaded is truncated. The version that I
have is 3:25 long. BUt what I have heard is that the film version is
much longer, by at least a couple of verses. I don't know if that is true
or not. I was wondering if you had the full version of this song.
