Hi guys!
Pulki has kindly sent me the songs cleaning software ‘Cool Edit Pro’. Unfortunately I do not know how to use this software I was wondering if anybody could post the step by step guidance to cleaning the songs?

Listening to the Mangol song. I notice a boom in Ur files. Try keeping recording volume low and later increasing it with Cool Edit. Are U using a walkman or system? I find walkman gives better results.

This one too is a beauty. Nice lilting one. Really like it a lot.
Madam's voice has changed so much in 3 years na when U listen to the 2 songs in succession.

Dear friends!
In my recent trip of Karachi, Luckily I have got some truly rare songs of Madam that I was looking for since ages. There is a very old music store ‘Capri Music’ in Lee Market area. They have a large collection of Gramophone records. I was really surprised to see their collection of old music. I gave him a list of about 150 (Urdu) songs of Noor Jehan, mostly from 60s, and I was really surprised when they told me they have 90% of them.
But in the very next moment, I was very shocked when they told me the rate of the songs. They were charging Rs. 50 for each song, This price was simply out of my budget. Khair… I started bargaining, finally they agreed on Rs. 30 each song. The price was still too much but I didn’t want to leave this treasure.
Finally, they have delivered me 8 audio-tapes of the songs, I have just digitized a couple of them. It is every time a pleasure to share my collection with all of you. I will share these gems in this thread, hope you will post your feedback.

Kahne ki jaroorat nahi hai ki ek ye khoobsurat song hai. Audio Editing ka kaam bhi aapne bakhoobi kiya hai lekin iske shuru aur aakhir ke kuchh second ko simply cut karne ki jaroort thi. Main is kaam ka ustaad nahin hoo, aur ho sakta hai maine is song ko aur kharab kar diya ho lekin thodi si chhechhad karke ise upload kar raha hoon :

I think I have to upload the songs without cleaning, agar koi mehrbaan inko clean karke phir se upload kar sake to bohat achha hoga. Kya kahyaal hai dosto?

Dear jamal sahib,
I dont mind you uploading other songs even if the quality is not so great. Some thing is better than nothing! I have lots of mainly indian songs from 1902-1960 of all singers. Dont have much rares of pak songs of NJ and naseem begum though. If you can upload NJ songs from my list it will be great. I recently uploaded two Gohar jan songs from 1905 under geet & ghazal. If you can not reload those songs again here than you can also send them to me on sohailsiddiqui1995@yahoo.com. Shukriya again for NJ songs. khawar

These naats were uploaded by Inaam on the forum long back but the Cd quality is great. Have been listening to 'lamyat o nasir o kabir' for last 3 days. Thanks to EMI for the release.
