How have you been a fan since 1990? He wasn't even on the scene then. He didn't even come to Mumbai until he was 18 years old? Math mein garbar hai. Haha. Explain please. Good to know there are other old-school fans though!!

I've been a fan since 1994, which was a year before Sonu got his spotlight song (Acha Sila). I saw him singing on the Filmfare awards that year (he sang Jaadu Teri Nazar from Darr) and became an instant fan. After that, I collected almost anything and everything relating to Sonu. Haha. And I'm still a fan today. 10 years old at the time and am now 25. Lamba saath hai humaara. Hahaha.

u r rite.. may be it was 93 or 94.
not only me my wife, my little daughter also are big fam of sonu
i have seen his rare interview on doordarshan way back in 93.
he said that.

" meri ek hi ikcha hai ki jab mai khoob paise kama loonga to pahado me ja kar ghar banaunga "

my daughter was born in 94 and since then she is a big fan.
ask me how?
wen my wife was pregnant, we use to watch saregama in 93 .

and the result was visible after birth of my daughter.
one fine day we were hearing songs of rafi saab and my daughter who was 5 yrs old then,asked me ,

dad who is thsi man who is isnging like sonu.

i shared this incidence with sonu wen i met him 2yrs back in hyderabad and sonu was so touched that he litteraly cried on that day
