I am asking this question to myself many times - if this voice is of Guru....guys can you please identify ?
This is not a complete song but just this shouting of Guru+chorus (?) - 5 times in the song.... This song is an Asha Bhosle solo and so it is not metioned in VN's book... BTW the movie has 4 complete Guru songs and one more Asha solo Regards

It's undoubtedly Guru's voice. At the beginning it's not evident, but as the pitch gets higher it's evident. The only other alternative is Amit Kumar because, if you listen very carefully, it does resemble his voice too, to a certain extent.

For me, singing sad songs often has a way of healing a situation. It gets the hurt out in the open into the light, out of the darkness.
