Dear friends,
I think the only CDs nowadays I buy from the market are Rafi Saab's Karaoke CDs, as they are not easily available on the net. As of date, I have collected 14 CDs. Nupur Audio Vol. 1 to 4, Vale Music Vol. 1 to 5, RPG, Sagarika, Venus, Tips (Vol. 2), Midas (Vol.6). This covers 75 songs with popular songs in many versions. In fact, 'Patthar Ke Sanam' has 6 versions!
I plan to upload ALL at the rate 2 songs/week, if there is a decent response. Kindly post your farmaishes (from the list below) so that i can upload the most popular ones!

There are 2 versions. Personally I feel the music is better in the 'Vale' version compared to the 'Nupur' version. But the music at the time of vocal is so loud that it is almost an instrumental. But then it might help people who need more help while singing. So here we go!

@AzgarKhan, It is difficult to generalize which is better, it all depends on the songs. As a thumb rule, RPG is the best, though they have only one CD. Even Midas is very good. I had released their ‘Aaja Sanam Madhur Chandni Mein Hum’ Karaoke in the SJ sub-forum. I think Vale is handicapped by a loud instrument playing at the time of vocal. But then it may be a boon to some singers. One thing I did not understand, do you want the entire list, or the one in bold? Either way, since your farmaish has come first, I am uploading it first.

Need your best wishes! And since anyway I have prepared these songs, I'll re-record them at home later and upload it in 'Sur Mein na Sahi'

Hmm...good and bad!
Good because i got good feedback, and apparently I was the best singer of the evening. Bad, because the orchestra people made a mess out of it at a lot of places. Example, in 'Chand sa rohshan chehra', after the mukhda, they played the music that comes just before the second stanza, and so on.
Meanwhile, I got hold a devocaliser, which means one can remove the vocals from an original soundtrack. The only catch here is that it has to be in stereo recording done in a particular way. Works on all new recordings, not on the old ones. At least, now I can get the Karaokes of Mughal-e-azam and Naya Daur.
BTW, not many people like 'Aye Mohabbat Zindabad', though I like it a lot. For a singer, it gives a lot of self-satisfaction, as all the 4 stanzas have different tunes. I plan to record it and put it up on 'sur mein na sahi'

No mian, didn't have that. Am downloading it now! Thx a million! It is a real challenge to sing this one. It explores all the lower notes of Darbari, but then the tune moves up straight like a rocket, and the upper notes are a real struggle!

Thanks a lot for this one. I have "Man re.." track, but it it so poor that there is no point using that track (very poorely done). You are better of with plain singing (voice) than using this track as background.
