Binodji, I have no idea on that. It is one of the obscure films of 80s which noone remebers i guess. The Cassette cover says MD Roshan Lal. May be they used his old tunes like in Veer Zaara. I saw Nadeem Shravan's Apradhi Kaun's tune from 1984 being used in film by same name in 2000 also. Or he may be a complete different Roshan Lal .. like the MD Ghulam Ali of these C grade films now a days who is no way linked to singer Ghulam Ali.

As for Remon Singh I think she too featured as the catty sister-in-law in one of those tv soaps, don't remember which one. Glamorous lady.

Thank you once again for this lovely rare album by SalilC. It was originally title in Bangla was "Paari". The Hindi version boasted of stalwarts like Dilip Kumar and Dharmendra; must have bombed pretty badly as nobody seems to have heard of it. (Got the info from the SalilC site). The bangla version of "Manwa more sata" is "Bokul bone katha" is beautifully sung by Asha. Though I like Sabita Choudhury's songs, this song really sounds wonderful in Asha's voice. The hindi version sung by Mannadey was originally sung by Hemanta K. Again, the opening of the Hindi version seems unaccountably hurried, compared to the Bangla version. I always share only the albums I have ripped myself from Tapes/CD/DVD/VCD's or the ones that i bought. Actually Sangeetji, these 2 films had Guru numbers...& both of them are only available in film....not released on disc.....that's why the film is the only source....BTW Saboot Maangta Hain Kanoon was released in Audio Cassettes which is very rare....Can Deewani help us, our Khazana of audio cassettes ???? Deewani

I'm reading Dubloo, only cause a friend directed me here, I'll keep my eye out but don't have it, I have one song from the film Khush Kismat that was on a cd called Lambi Judai vol 2 - but the vol 2 cd compared to the vol 1 cd (both are on saregama) seems to be either naqli or is a case where saregama has cooperated with other labels to put songs on it because it contains songs of different labels (Universal, Venus, etc as well), needless to say it's not the KK song, sorry.

Correct! the Tamil version was in late 90s but hindi dubbed one was released in 2006 as far as i Know or may be I am confused...this is the one with Arjun and Rambha right? May be I am wrong. Looks like age is catching up LOL

Does anyone know the story behind Rafi song?. that track sound very 60ish unlike other songs in the album. Considering Bappi came only in early 70's was wondering if he composed 60ish track on purpose.
